cutting42
Define "a bit", can you post a pic? Not heard of them smelling except after they blow, then they really stink ;-) If you are suspicious, do not store it in the house but outside or in the garage on a baking tray or similar.

turok007
looks ok but if it smells then it must have a tiny hole or rip in it. so not safe
Wirralnitronoob
Ill just have to make do with my 2s lipos then until i upgrade to 4s,,may be advisable to change my driveshafts of the pede before i upgrade to 4s as ive read alot that the stock ones cant take the power and they twist..... turok007
they will twist on 2s. 4s will be ok but it all depends on how you are going to drive it. if you like doing standing backflips then you will need to upgrade them. lol
Wirralnitronoob
It seems okay so far with 2s turok,, it does wheelies but i dont think it can do a backflip as it has a bar on the back Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

turok007
on 3s it will flip even with the wheelie bar. as for drive shafts go straight to MIP as lower grade ones will end up costing you more in the long run.

Tug
If a lipo was leaking, it'd vent in a way that you'd know it was leaking. Once the lithium mixes with oxygen, it's on! It doesn't look damaged from those pics. Have you put a cell checker on it?
cutting42
Doesn't look that bad but like others said, not worth the risk of burning up the car

Tug
Yeah, that'll tell you the voltages and then you can monitor if they're stable. Store it outside where it can't get wet, but also where it can't damage anything. Plug the checker in a day or so, if it's stable, I wouldn't worry. Just duct tape it up. But store it outside until you're happy with it. Or just dispose of it responsibly.

Tug
Some of my lipos look like I've stamped on them, but they're fine. Puncturing is what you want to avoid.
