yoodoo Posted May 30, 2015 Share Posted May 30, 2015 I'm in the throws of a 250 build(just fancy the FPV race side) I have read a few builds and just wanted to know what you fellas are doing with your builds,good's and bad's. What motors have you used? FC's,props,FPV etc.Weight is an issue with 250's so have you any experience with lightening them. all advice is appreciated. Thanks. Rtsbasic Posted June 6, 2015 Share Posted June 6, 2015 Emax 1806 motors give good power, nice and responsive. CC3D flies well, Naze32 is probably the most popular though? I tried 1.2Ghz FPV on mine for a few flights. The transmitter was pretty heavy compared to 5.8Ghz equipment. I was flying with a 7 inch screen, which is fine for a big quad.
