Mkebmwfan
Hey guys. Monday I have my flight towards my home (Hungary) and I wanna take my Revo 3.3 with me. Ive read a bunch of stories on google about people getting them thru easily and some getting them confiscated. Now, I bought 2 cans of Nitro Blaster, the Nitro RC cleaner stuff and I've cleaned the car properly. No fuel residue, Fuel Tank dry, tubes dry, exhaust clean, engine clean, chasse, suspension, wheels clean. Did anybody ever fly with their Nitro RC over Wizzair? Can you tell me your experience, tips please? Carpmart
Never flown with my Nitro cars. Are you checking this in, or trying as hand luggage? Checked you'll have much fewer issues. The newer/cleaner it looks, definitely the better chance. I've flown Wizz quite a bit as they operate quite a few routes out of my local airport in Luton. On a par with Ryanair...... Bloody terrible! Good luck!
Alex97
Maybe take the car to bits. Just email them and ask, the worse they can say is no.
Mkebmwfan
Ive cleaned the car properly. Fuel tank and fuel lines are dry. And yes. I will check everything in. I hope I wont have any problems.
Tug
If there's no fuel and the batteries are nimh, not lipo, then it shouldn't be an issue.
Mkebmwfan
Yeap. Nimh battery and absolutely no fuel. When I will be checking in my baggage I will tell them that there is a Radio Controlled Race Car in the baggage. Better warn them then getting picked out by security [emoji14]
