Was just about to pm you about this!

Could you recommend a headphone amp to use with iPod/pads, I'm using my shiny new B&W P7's?

What's your budget?

With that budget you are looking at a Fiio device, great quality for the price:

Amp: http://www.ea-audio.co.uk/fiio_a3.html

Amp/DAC: http://www.ea-audio.co.uk/fiio_q1.html

:)

Would the Q1 just be a plug and play? I already have the Lightning cable.

I don't think so, you'd have to up your budget to a lightning compatible DAC/amp like the oppo HA-2

I'll look into it :)

To use the Q1 with an Apple device you need the camera connection kit as stated here: https://www.head-fi.org/f/threads/fiios-new-q1-portable-dac-amp-lets-drink-to-happy-listening.780726/

Otherwise as I said the budget would have to be upped to a Oppo HA-2 or Chord Mojo or similar, so you are better off with the Q1 + Camera Connection Kit

Cheers :D

I have been looking at these for a while now

 SONY MDR-ZX770BNL

worth the money or is there better out there ?

Any reason for having active noise cancelling, I hate it personally and would always opt for a good normal closed back design, or in-ears.

Also is Bluetooth a must, and what kind of music do you listen to?
