Philxj4L
I sold the remaining parts of the wraith kit, (pretty much the complete kit actually) a few weeks back, and got these on order. The set arrived today.

Philxj4L
As the heatsink/motor fan arrived and was gonna take some massaging to fit due to the wraith gearbox/motor layout today was fitting day. Philxj4L
While the cage was off to install the SP motor, and stuff was being repositioned, I added an extra bolt The hinged bonnet mod was done at last. No idea why it took this long, as the hinges where already in place as the body pannels are all on with P clips.
Philxj4L
High CG was an issue from the off with the wraith, most of that was down to the 110mm piggyback dampers I'd used. The heavy steel cage didn't help either. After some searching on eBay I seen a set of diaphragm dampers, downside was they where
.AJ.
I run 110mm shocks on mine, but with about 3/4 droop and it still sits lower than yours with shorter shocks, still looks a bit too high for my liking
Philxj4L
I can see now, mines never gonna be as low as most wraiths. Mine is a wraith, but the only axial parts on it are the ripsaws & gearbox internals. The cage is similar to the standard, but not exactly the same so top shock mounts are different, same with the bottom mounts, close, but not exact. I suspect the whole suspension geometry is a fair bit off standard spec.
.AJ.
Mines not exactly stock Probably one of the most modified Wraiths in the UK
Philxj4L
Nice. I think if I was doin it again, I'd probably use the stock cage. Would have saved some headaches, fun figuring them out though.
Philxj4L
At 6 quid a pop, I pretty happy with the new dampers.
