Hi,

I am having trouble finding a receiver to use with my CODE DSSS 2.4 ghz transmitter, The CORE receiver in the B44.1 works ok, but the 2 other receivers don't work,, they seem to bind (light goes green) but wont do anything, Can anyone with experience of the CODE or Etronix RC gear tell me where I have gone wrong?

The 2 receivers that don't work have PCM 1024 written on them,, but in the description it said they were EX3G DSSS!

I want to get another receiver that works to use in my optima mid that I raced years ago.

Thanks,

Hi, yes its got model memory's I go through the binding process for the new receiver / Model Mem and the green light on the receiver lights up ~( as it does on the one that works) but then nothing!

I like the transmitter so thought it would be easy to buy more receivers for other cars and use the model memory's! If I cant get it to work may be ill buy a new transmitter,, as I have 2 receivers that don't seem to work with this transmitter at the mo!

I suspect that the two receivers that are not working are probably ET 1055s, whereas the one that works is an ET 1050, the correct receiver for that transmitter, but there is no way for me to be certain.

The 1055, although a three channel receiver, actually matches the two channel "Sport" DSSS transmitter. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be any obvious external differences between the two.

I have ten 3 channel FHSS sets (mixture of Etronix, Code and Tamco - all identical except for label) and a 2 channel sport FHSS. The "Sport" receiver will bind to a 3 channel transmitter but will not work with it.  Although I have four DSSS 3 channel sets, I do not have a 2 channel DSSS to see  if these react the same way and replicate your problem.

I have bought extra ET 1050 receivers from Modelsport in the past, but they do not seem to be listing them at the moment - might be worth checking if they will be re-stocking in the future.  They are, however listed on Etronix' website at about
