king156
is such a setup possible that I could run daily if I wanted to. I mean like I would have the power if I ever wanted it but not abuse it all the time

norcoforever
you would need to speak to our great and wonderful leader who deemed it fit to insert a colossul neu motor into his slash. a 100mph slash will never be a normal everyday basher. sheer weight and scale prevents that
the watchman
My slash on 3s does around 40/50mph lol and i can hardly keep it in a stright line now, let alone double that speed, that really is a tall order.

Popular Post Noj
A physical impossibility, regardless of how much of daddy's money you wish to throw at it. You are a funny little boy....reminiscent of someone else on here that liked to show boat with daddy's money; suffice it to say he ain't welcome round these parts anymore
Juggernaut jims
It is possible there was a guy on YouTube who managed to but it was not any use for anything other that fly out speed runs
Noj
JJ, thank you for the correction. I should have said 'as a regular basher it is a physical impossibility....' I blame many pints of Pilsner and a late night, personally....

RCbutcher
It is possible youtube has been doing it for awhile. But it's not practical there's even a stampede on ther at 120mph. Shopping list. Mamba monster 2200kv Esc to handle 6s lipo. 6s lipo. Nitro revo 36t spur gear. Or better alloy intengy 34t spur gear. Then wherever you can get a 32t pinion gear from. Then around 1000ft flat straight road apparently. Then to make it easier to control get one of those electric components that stabilises the steering automatically. It's something I want to do aswel that is the list for the 2wd traxxas stuff. I want to get a slash 4x4 doing 80mph if possible. It will break alot and never be able to handle it daily every outing should make it unusable until rebuilt. But it's still cool. The best way would be a 1/8 touring car chassis but the traxxas stuff is much easier in all aspects.
RCbutcher
The rustler is the one people usually do but bcos it got done to death by dravens followers Inc giostealthr1 people started trying other traxxas 2wd and now all of them have been blasted to the 100 club as they call it. I think draven got 130mph before he got ill using an xl2 esc 2200 or 2400kv motor on 6s with Jaco foam tires. With the slash ide want either xo1 tires or atleast belted proline road rage on buggy rims.
Didski
Stock with 3S I got 51, with a pinion change I got 60 and frankly it was way too fast. Put back to around 50 and depending on length of run is fast enough and still controllable!! 3S and 50mph is good fun and fast.
oodboo
You'll need to turn it into a snowmobile first.
Nitroholic
100mph .... that's easy. Already done it in fact. Sadly I cannot show you any pictures, as they have been classified by MI5, MI6 and the CIA once they realised the possibility of weaponising the thing. Regrettably, also, the actual car was eaten by a passing stray dog. I suspect the so called 'arson' attack at a dogs home in Manchester was actually a poor cover up for the security services attempts to recover the remnants of my super-slash from a doggy intestine. But I did do it...honest. Gospel truth*. Not just a tall tale designed to troll and wind people up. No.
Juggernaut jims
How ever the guy is a muppet running it there with all the cars but that's how it would look and wouldn't be able to jump it or anything. Best off buying a touring car or the traxxas xo1 and an apple product (which you will have already) and usin that.
