Revo / Failsafe

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am a little confused, I thought the Optidrive provided a failsafe for battery / radio reception, but I have been reading that I need an aftermarket failsafe !? If I need one, do I need a special kind, or do any work ?

Thanks

Ed

If you have a return spring on your carb you don't really need a failsafe, although if your running with alot of other rc'ers you might want to get one incase someone is running the sam freguancy.

you will need one, if somthing goes wrong while the electrics are still on the servo will push against the spring, throttle return springs only work if the battery dies
