I had this all up and running minus the new parts in the last (so called) summer so it's nothing really new but I really want to see it through to the ultimate spec as it were. It's better than the tc02evo could ever be. Oops forgot carbon t-piece already fitted. Need a bodyshell as all ansmann owners may be aware they're soooooooo brittle. Plus spoiler as per. The kyosho rb5 is what these cars are a replica of for those not in the know. They fit perfectly and are really good quality. Plus most rb5 upgraded parts fit too. It's actually vintage now so don't expect cheap parts. Team c are the cheapest around. Well I'm off to bed as you may see the tone posted is really early. I was on nights. Will post pics as and when. Keep your eyes peeled on this. Not a cheap project but will be bulletproof in the end which most r/c aren't

Before I read any more don't use the alloy idle gear they eat gears and are no good use the poly ones instead back when I've read the rest

Oh and cancel the evo you should have got this http://www.absima.com/en/products/cars-trucks/competition-110/t2evo.html

Comes with a load of alloy and poly hop ups or there's evo hobbies do the tc02evo with hop ups it's called the tc02evo pro it also comes with the

Thanks for that info Neil. I already have 3 of these chassis so I'm sticking with what I know. That front end will be useful though. And I've got steel gears in my gearbox so no problems there. (Custom made and quite expensive)

Hello all, i have recently purchased a team c jekyll but i am only just getting round to looking at upgrading parts for it, does anyone know of any parts that need upgrading? and if so does anyone have a website or websites where they can purchase parts from because i have found some parts on ebay but they are just spares and not the upgraded parts that i am looking for. the only decent website that i can find that sells team c upgrades is www.eurorc.com
any help is appreciated! regards, simon.

Well because team c pulled the rug from under smd every shop except modelsport have taken most team c stuff off their websites have a look here http://www.teamcracing.net/index.php?page=shop.browse&category_id=16&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=71 and check if it fits your car on the compatibility list for 1/10 here http://www.absima.com/en/support/downloads.html

Then search the part number on eBay there's a good few places selling them also racers edge parts fit which is a bonus as their about 10-20% cheaper.

But essential upgrades the first one I did was the front end nose section this one screws in the middle makes it a lot stronger http://shopping.rcmodel.hk/parts-ep-off-road-parts-&-hopups-team-front-chassis-plate-set-p-19611.html if you go on the team c forum there's a thing they have going where you get money/points for posts you collect these and at 300 points you get a free alloy upgrade http://forum.teamcracing.net/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=271&extra=page%3D1

But the forum is mainly for racers

It's such a shame about abisma/team c pulling the plug from smd only just heard about that this morning after doing a little bit of digging. well i've just ordered a few bits from eurorc.com it cost me a bomb but it seems like a decent place to buy team c parts from, i've ordered a kevlar front end and kevlar spur gear because they seem to be the weakest parts on the car, plus i've ordered a carbon fiber rear chassis plate, aluminium 28t idler gear, a lightweight motor mount, front pin brace, ceramic balls and v2 slipper pads so i've got plenty of work to do when the parts arrive! And i've just joined the team c forum but how do you spend the points if you can only log in to the team c website if your a dealer?

No the alloy gear shreds even the Kevlar gears its one of the worst upgrades to get now the front end the one I linked to is the latest of 4 or 5 attempts there's been a carbon one and Kevlar and they both still broke now this one hasn't its taken a good beeting so far and its cheaper plus its the latest compound of woven plastic and carbon http://forum.teamcracing.net/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=258&extra=page%3D3
