yoodoo Posted December 15, 2013 Share Posted December 15, 2013 (edited) I have had quiet a few HPI RS4 rallies over the years(and still got a few ) and always found the top and bottom chassis to be the weakest link.As far as design goes the the rear of the bottom chassis is the weak section and the top is just diabolical considering these are meant to be rally cars! So here I have put a few pictures up of the bottom deck in the making. I used a piece of 12" x 6" and 1/16 thick FRP in natural colour (could'nt find black) !.First off I masked the FRP off and placed a spare chassis over it to mark it out. yoodoo Posted December 15, 2013 Author Share Posted December 15, 2013 Finally I replaced the original chassis over the top and used a felt tip to mark the holes for the screws.Then after that it went onto the drill press to have the holes drilled.
