ams_Sxi Posted August 16, 2013 Share Posted August 16, 2013 Got a EB4 S2 RC Car, set up correctly following the manual leaving about 1mm gap on the carb. Had few problems starting car kept stalling after starting. Drove it at 1/4 throttle for a tank yesterday. Started up today but as soon as i take the glow plug starter off the engine cuts out. TrickyTris Posted August 16, 2013 Share Posted August 16, 2013 Surely the glow plug could not have died that quickly. That would just be beyond a joke! Nonetheless, it's worth checking. I'd like to think the engine is stalling due to running too rich on the low end. Can you provide any more details? Such as: - Do the wheels spin when off the ground? - Does the car "bog" under acceleration? - Will the car only start if you increase the throttle trim slightly or give it some revs while starting? - Is this issue only occurring when the engine is cold? If you answered yes to any of the above, then it is due to the fuel mixture being incorrect. Most likely on the low end.
