So what all the Mach 454 components are the exact same as the lrp .32 spec 2? Totally interchangeable? There must be so many ppl out there running lrp engines in their savages I’m sure there must be parts readily available for these big blocks

Hi, a few years back I purchased the now discontinued lrp .32 (32820) but circumstances at the time meant I didn’t even get round to starting it up for the first time. Now I see that this engine has been discontinued and I’m worried that I won’t be able to get spare parts for it should anything break down. I see there is now a spec 4 version of this engine- do the spare parts for this engine fit the spec 2 that I have? I also can’t find anywhere in the uk that actually carry’s these spares! I also learnt that LRP is now defunct and doesn’t exist anymore?? What’s going on will I have any service care at all for my lrp engine?

I'm equally confused, perhaps paragraphs may help break down this mass of info. Perhaps not, I'd say do what u feel matey since u have all the components anyway if u don't like something simply swap it back.

Cool what about drying the motor afterwards or do I use wd40?

Hi I have a brand new tamiya sport tuned motor and before it goes in the lunchbox I want to run it in to give it the best chance performance wise. I've heard before that brushed motors can be dunked in water and connected to a battery to run in the brushes, is this true? If so how is it done exactly? I don't wanna cause any damage to the motor obviously!

No they don't they run dry inside the tranny, don't add grease.

Only thing I need to know now is what battery connectors to get? My charger doesn't have the connector that the lipo in the link has so I couldn't charge it and my esc has the original mini jst? Connector so what are my options here guys? Just trying to get everything I need from hobbyking.
