Fg Marder no drive ! HELP

Hi , need a bit of help with my fg , a couple weeks ago I had to change the diff over because of the usual problem of the diff casing exploding as its plastic . I've opted for an alloy self locking diff ( used ) all fitted lovely with a diff raise bracket , however all put back together on the bench with the wheels off the ground it worked fine drive to both wheels no problem , when I put it on the floor it revved up the diff was turning but no drive to output shafts . Is this likely to be the shafts or the gearing inside the diff ?
