we was planning on using tyres or some sort of tubing but we would have to dig tyres into the groung half way unless we got a huge podium to have a clear view of the track but tyres would be a long process as its better to cut in half and put round the edges but would be very time consuming we just want to get the track up and running with people using it to keep it maintained thats the main goal lol

This is great and you've done a great job so far .

I went and checked it out today.

Im surprised how quick it has grown already:

I assume this land is owned by the local authority?

I think it needs a quick going over with a rake and then just some use let that Brushless power ;) do the rest.

Thanks.

hi dazzaclio yeah its grown very fast it looks horrific now to how we got it and no its private land mate and it just needs a quik mow over and raking and its good to go as the rain had done most of the job we all need to get together bring a rake eatch and just do it all in 1 day then its done all we need then is a viewing point like some scafolding of some kind and who would be up for bringing a rake and helping out we would need atleast 4 of us as there was 2-3 of us before and its hard work lol

oh yes and we need to mend the fencing we put it up all brand new about 2 munfs ago and within a short period of time it was vandalised but after the culprit was found and a stearn word was given :whistling: there will be no more problems garanteed so we just need to get together and crack on :hahadance:

Hi guys,

Noticed this track the other day (just round the corner from my parents house), did a google, and this showed up!

Would be interested in lending a hand if you guys need help. Can probably help with website stuff some one mentioned also (I'm a software engineer...)

Guys keep up with the track. I know its heavy going and people get teed off easy but your nearly done .

I never knew the track was there and i was living down there for a while just round from the harbour.

Could the guy on the harbour front shop with all the scalextrix kit not get his oar in and give you a hand as hes into nitro and 5th scale.

worth a try.

Yeah the old frost will be setting into the ground now.

Dont let it go to waste in the new year and better weather youre oin fine.

If im back down for work i will pop round for a bit of grafting ,and bring the truggy with me .

See if you can get a hold of old astro turf. Thatl solve your problems and make it all year track.
