it came today. i didnt bother with all the stickers because tbh i dont like how they look on the body. so far it needs metal dog cups on the diffs and oil filled shocks. it kept poopin drive shafts on the back so i wrapped the diff cups in blue insulation tape so the bodge atleast matches the body. i used a couple of cable ties on each shock as spacers to raise it up a bit and take the flop out of it and ive raised the mountin point of the front upper wishbones 1 hole on the shock tower which has drasticly improved it for the way i drive it in the space that i have, ive also swapped the esc for the buggy esc which already had a deans on it. heres the pics if they will work

for the price you pay for it you cant really complain apart from the things you mentioned and it does look it abit better than i thought aswell

im well impressed with the build quality mate. overall anyway lol. there are things like the shocks but then how else can they get it so cheap, tbh ive had a smile on my face all day while ive had it out so for the monrey i'd say it ticks all the boxes of why iw anted it in the first place. the chassis itself looked weak and flimsy on hk but i gotta say its stronger than the buggy, alot stronger. i think i may need to be orderin a few diff gears but again at that price the bank wont even notice lol

i think if i was going to get one it would be the rally car with the green wheels just for some fun plus the alloy parts like the adjustable shocks are quite cheap at

the rally and the ssct are basicly the same. the sct is the same as the acme brawler which has adjustable shocks so they could be worth a go

yeah ive got 1 that im gonna upload to youtube when i go work in a min and i'll get 1 at work. top speed aint alot on 2s but tbh im runnin it in an arear about 5m square with runout space round the edges with grass and the path and that. you'll see on the vid. hammerin it from dead slow is a no no, theres no slipper so it wont take long to kill the rear diff doin that

no probs. iam sure i saw that the dearer of the rally cars had a slipper setup and its roughly the same price as the sct so i dont see why they didnt fit it to the sct aswell.

it is mate, my girlfriends mum is waitin for her ex to move all his crap out of the garden so she can do it up and in the meantime its my playground lol. yeah ive only got 2s, for what i want its perfect. i got some video of it on tarmac today. it wants oil filled shocks for sure because it cocks its front left wheel while acceleratin hard which spins you out if you cant keep on it

what about fuel line as a damper

might get a 3s for fun

youd need fuel line to cover the entire length of the shock for it to work mate, the rear right squats a little bit as the torque compresses the spring enough to start restistin it. i wouldnt bother with 3s tbh mate. accordin to the hk forum 3s kills the diffs very quickly and tbh i can believe em. i avoid harsh starts on grippy surfaces and reverse then forward or all you can hear is the gears clickin as they jump and grind each other down into diffy dust

they way i look at these is if you want a small basher then get something else. if you want something that you can just throw round the garden with a bit of care that dont cost an arm and a leg then its great. especially now theyre stockin em in uk and parts will be soon. they still dont know when yet but they better start
