norcoforever Posted April 10, 2012 Share Posted April 10, 2012 hi all, i've got a rather large shell coming over the next couple of day, i have ordered all my paint etc along with some shoo goo with the idea of reinforcing the shell, but whats the best way to do this its not practical to cover the whole shell as its a 1/5 sc shell am i best just doing the post holes and a strip all the way around the edge or is there a better way to reinforce shells? AlexBruv Posted April 10, 2012 Share Posted April 10, 2012 For the tape? i would use at least 2 layers going across each other.. i used one layer of goo for a 1/10 buggy shell, was fine... but you can do 2 or 3 depending on how rigid/strong you want the shell.
