Wrighty8766
4000mah 25C will only discharge 100A continuously without straining the lipo, it will work ok but the lipo would suffer in the long term
atom3624
Generally go for the best you can afford. I run my E-Ram on 6S (2x 3S 5Ah 65-130C Hobbyking Nanotechs in series) through a Castle XL2 into a Castle 1717 1650 kV. It's heavy, but goes very well!!! Al. Wrighty8766
If you have the room on the chassis you could always put two battery trays and link them up for 8000mah
mattmatt001
It's OK just trying to take advantage of a good deal, don't really have space on the chassis for two :-/
kristian1995
your lipos might puff up if your straining them constantly

graf
I've just done an electric conversion on my LST 2 (seems to be the thing to do these days), and fancied treating it to a new body shell. Does anyone have any pointers on which body shells that are currently available fit well? There seems to be a big variation in the size of 1/8th scale Monster trucks.... Thanks in advance. atom3624
In case anyone is having problems with the slipper slipping too much .... here's another option: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171887902806?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT He will make paperwork acceptable for entry into UK. He clearly states what we all know, as 'accepts no liability for drivetrain damage'!! Al.

QRC
I like the look of the new shell!! Interesting to see what your thoughts are on the petrol version!yet to give her a maiden run, will be doing quick check off shock, diffs, pinny/ spur mesh and general loose nuts and bolts.only going to run 4s, will need to swap out pinny for 6s.thought about he gas version when first release, seem to issues similar to the Savage octane. So went for electric, simple and clean.

It's a great MT, no issues as yet, well made and tough. If the price has been reduced even better !
atom3624
Still a great truck. Get that slipper set right, and ensure the O-rings are working well in the shocks ... work gently to start ... etc. Centre diff would help, that's it.
