  1. The only Set i know of on the market that can do this is the Traxxas Link handsets, they can be bound to multiple cars, and the Reciever can be bound to more than one handset. The only downside there is their blinking menu LED's are so damn fiddly to navigate, its easier just rebinding a car to a 2nd handset.
  2. That looks Amazing!!! If i bought it i would never run it!!
  3. Yeah.. Higher turns = Lower RPM, More Torque per unit voltage... So, for example, a 15T Rated ESC will take anything down to 15T, (like a 21T and all the other high numbers,) But if you stuck a 12T 550 Traxxas Titan on a 15T Rated ESC, youd be asking to lose your magic smoke.
  4. Replies like that are why.. Bottom line is, if someone offers advice, and someone else offers a slight correction, its to be expected in help topics. We all get corrected or advised on improvements to our advice at one time or another, Accept it, remember it for next time, and move on. No harm done, and certainly no need to be funny about it. He wasnt trying to knock you, He was correct, the EzRun early editions are a bit outdated compared to the XeRun systems. Although you will struggle to find them in the UK, a 150A 2045Kv or 2250Kv system can be had from hong kong on E-Bay for about the same cash. You can also get them sensored too. Ive always been a fan of Hobbywing stuff. The motors are average, but the ESC's are the finest i have ever used, bar none!
  5. I will take the front shock tower mate. Pm your PayPal addy and I will shoot
  6. Ouch! That's a very random, yet nasty accident, just goes to show it can happen to anyone of us no matter how carefully we are! Very lucky you just popped downstairs for a minute! Could have been infinitely worse!
  7. im another advocate of the crisp buttie... But without any butter... I hate butter!!! I am very fond of buying or making a cheese sandwich or roll, and microwaving it till it melts... LUSH!!!
  8. Awesome Vids there Steve! Have to be honest, after getting an MSRX and DX6I 3 weeks ago, the MQX has been tempting me a lot..
  9. Decidedto put it on Ebay. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/120857826350?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
  10. Hope you enjoy! Also includes our attempt at the Gadget Shows World Record jump with a Vorza!
  11. lol!!! That truely is awesome!!!! Just think! if youd had another couple of inches, youd be looking at an igloo!!!!
  12. i think for the most part, these trucks will be bought by HPI fans as shelfers, with only gentle running. As a collectors item, i dont think its overpriced, but youd be insane to buy this to bash.
  13. Even though the 1/10 version is a 2WD? The 1/16 is based on a far superior 4WD design. (i.e. revo) Ironically, if someone offered me the 1/10 or 1/16, id take the 1/16
  14. Anything 1800kv to 2250 should be fine, some people run 2650's but I found it limited gearing a little. The X1 is an excellent platform for a conversion, I would look at a bum-skid for the front though, as the stock bumper isn't the cleverest design and with brushless it will take some stick. The hinge pin braces are another weak point. Good luck with it matey, and if you need any help, feel free to pm me.
  15. Personally, I wouldn't get either. The acme models in general are awfull. (I've had several) if anything, their quality has gone downhill last 6 years or so. The bsd isn't a bad car, but its not great either. I've always found that you should buy the best car you can afford, buy cheap buy twice is a metaphor that is very real in this hobby.
  16. It's meant to snow here in south Wales, and I'm working in London this weekend
  17. i had two Brushless ones. I did an in depth review of them in the review section here. As Gary said, there based on the Strada MT, but they are massively inferior in comparison.
  18. Thats.... Insane!! And impressive!!
  19. On a 2045kv 150a xerun sensor less system, I ran my X1-CRTe on 18/48 without any problems and it was insanely powerfull. There's a link to my RCoTM thread on mine, and a link in that to a detailed build thread, may help to have a read through.
  20. Well!!!! What can i say!!! 2 to 3 Years ago, Traxxas were the ones with the innovation and known for new releases, and HPI were known as the Re-Badging Bandits!! Fair do's HPI have really set the Bar high here!!! And Traxxas have fallen into the dark ways of re-Badging. Good on HPI i say.. (although about bloody time...)
  21. actually.. No.. Theres a fair few improvements over the old Nitro Savage 5T. Namely the front/rear bumper/skid assembly's, (i really like them) side skirts, Chassis plates themselves are slightly better laid out, and no doubt the tougher Flux Drivetrain..
  22. to be fair, it looks like a nice buggy!!! But likely another make that gets no support from retailers here so isnt worth buying..
  23. Alex is the man to ask, he gave his card to the leisure centre staff to pass on.
