    No, it was used with a starter box. There is a one way bearing on the shaft though,it feels fine. Always had after run oil in after use,i`ll include that with it.

    I have been comparing the diff cases to HPi Vorza//D8 ones,whilst the holes in the spur gears are slightly out,the RB V2 diff cases look to be very similar,so if needed the spur and diff case could be fitted,the internal gears look the same. I also noticed that the gold alloy hubs on the R come from the HPi Vorza/D8 lightweight options bin.

    Other spurs should fit. But you might have to countersink drill them and use flush countersunk screws.

    I like the gear cover. I bet you end up with 3 of these once you have sorted through the parts left over,LoL.

    Seen it plenty of times over the years,hair, fluff, string,astro turf fibers,cotton/nylon threads etc etc. Can get past the bearing seals too,can cause binding,bearing failure,car not to track in a straight line. Just a thought anyway. I`m sure you`re right

    I`ve never owner one of these,but it could be a number of things,does it spin out the same way left or right? could be something binding ,like hair or fluff wrapped round a hub/bearing. You could do with stickier tyres on the rear than on the front and try turning the steering rates down if it`s available on your TX.

    I have an outrunner in a car @Noj,it works great,this one @Freedom Racers is using is used in a large Helicopter,KV rate is about right,still maybe a little high IMHO but still. Cutting edge and all that,he is prepared for it to fail and if it does he will learn from it and move onto the next attempt.
