  1. I picked mine up on Saturday and very pleased with it although I wasn't expecting the wheels to be so big Are there any smaller alternatives that fit? Also I would like to get a new body for it if anyone can recommend one it would be much appreciated. Thanks
  2. I noticed that it comes with optional 6s diffs, perhaps that's part of there "updated kit" !? Minimal research conducted on my part, was too keen to get the order in before they sell out I am a bit of speed freak and I doubt that the 1750kv on 4s (motors rated max voltage) will be enough, assuming that your planing on running the 1600kv on 6s? I want mine to be good for around 60Mph. Can you link to the motor you chose ? Thanks
  3. I have an Orion 1750kv long can and a 120 amp SCT pro (4s) sitting on the parts shelf but I will probably end up pulling the Max 8 and 2200kv out of my Losi Ten SCTE for some 6s fun
  4. Just a heads up, some nice bargains to be had ! Treated myself to a Berserker kit
  5. That's looking sweet @.AJ. , here's my Swift (M05r) but still some work to do. I stupidly thought that it would be a good idea to cut out the decals with a scalpel
  6. Next time give me a shout and i'll try and join you
  7. Trust in Tamiya Ninja https://www.modelsport.co.uk/wheels-tyres-sets/rc-car-categories/9960/996020&MSAttributeID[58]=1413 https://www.amainhobbies.com/1-10-touring-car-on-road-tires-wheels-cars-trucks/c2667?fb=684
  8. Not new and It's on it's way to them as we speak along with a 5700kv sensored motor. Their motor developed a vibration and I tested everything at the time when I noticed and all was well apart from the motor so I picked up a new temporary motor and then the magic smoke when installing.
  9. Finally got to run the 418 yesterday. It was over heating so I had to gear it down with what I had with me, was much better but didn't hit the triple. A new PB for me though and It's very stable at speed so I'm sure it will happen soon
  10. It wasn't even in a car at the time. I was testing a new Speed Passion motor in the front room and it was vibrating and making a ticking noise so I powered it off quickly and about a second later (I had an extra Cremations cap pack in line) it fizzed, went up in flames and filled the whole room with nasty green smoke. An eye opening experience! They should give a money off voucher for a fire extinguisher with the ESC's instead of the Cremations Link
  11. Ever wondered how fast a silver can can go? This is my silver can powered TB04 Evo, it's hit 44.8Mph so far and could be the worlds fastest silver can powered Tamiya . It's running on 3s with 48 pitch 64spur/47 Pinion. I haven't run the 418 yet, tomorrow or the next day .
  12. Seeing how you liked the crash footage, on my first FF03 run yesterday the front foam tyres let go and launched the car into my mates camera. It was Matrix ones which up until then had been very good, I think they must have got damaged in the last big tumble
  13. I ran the 418 today but just some gentle test pulls to get some log data as I was worried about motor temps. The logs look good and it drives lovely so I plan to go back out on Tuesday and give it hammering. I had awesome few runs with my FF03 . I never thought it would go so fast when I started working on it, it could be the fastest FF03 in the world Anyway...
  14. My new Protofrom Mazda 6 body for the 418.
