  1. Indeed It's worth saving up rather than jumping in as lipos tend to be quite expensive...especially with the addictive power
  2. That "The Wall" base is stunning! Especially the signatures
  3. In all honesty, I wouldn't worry too much about heat issues as MMMs tend to run cool afaik, so stick 22/54 on and see what it's like I was running about that with my eZrun, which got a bit warm with Big Joe 40s, but the MMMs are massively more efficient so should run cool
  4. +1 I can just imagine the exhaust burbling like a real scooby as it's sat there
  5. 22/54 is probably a good starting point Get acouple more spurs and pinions to adjust the gearing if you can afford it. As for "will it get hot", it depends on how much cooling there is
  6. Don't know what the nano-techs are like but their normal packs are nice and powerful Especially the 40C ones I'd go for them, turnigys are a bargain for what you get
  7. I get 3076.9230769230769230769230769231 HP per ton... If you do, use a pillar drill and make sure it's lined up properly and that there'll be enough thread left for the grub screw to lock into. I tried boring a 3.5mm hole out to a 5mm holes with a cordless drill...it didn't go well Don't be stupid! That's got 3 pins Unfortunately you're several months late nos That's a lie and you know it! It'll just find its way to Australia in a matter of seconds
  8. If the 2S and 3S packs are the same capacity and C rating then you can mix and match so you can run 5S when 6S is too silly but you want more than 4S
  9. Somehow I don't think the Slash was designed to take 4" motors Can't wait to see the results And hear about how many trees have holes through them across the world, so we can plot the course it took
  10. Happy Birthday all! Have a good 'un
  11. Wahey! Just hope you don't get asked "you know that
  12. This is disgusting. IMO, the protestors should be burnt! If a group of British people went over and started burning a symbol of the Islamic faith in Mecca during the pilgrimage season you would most likely be shot, or at least beaten. The government's far too scared of insulting anyone in this country and has become far too twitchy. Yes, I'm patriotic but I'm never (intentionally) racist. I have no problem with Muslims, or any other religious group except the extremists, who really p**s me off. Doesn't matter who it is, BNP, Al Quaeda, whoever.
  13. I haven't got an MMM in mine but you should be able to control the wheelies with the throttle. Build it up slowly and you shouldn't have a problem
  14. Life really is a b***h sometimes! Seems damn unfair on you! Don't see why your step dad won't let you buy the spare bannister pole thing and fit it yourself to his standard, seems mightily unjust Guessing you've tried the above though. I would normally say it's not worth arguing but
  15. Probably to make a point about not getting away with breaking stuff! Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you did it, but hitting people in the pocket ususally gets messages across better, especially when they're saving for something/things Can't you just persuade them that you could fix it, with it just being as strong e.g. fixing some sort of plate to both the inside and outside?
  16. Gives a new meaning to portable computer. Laptop? No, I have a 'Vette
  17. Out of the colours on that chart...green. Otherwise I'd go for asbo-esque orange
