  1. Should be four weeks but i have trouble counting I knew you couldn't keep away from the big stuff Fetch them batteries ya nacka, i need a couple of decent 4S packs
  2. Not too bad weather forecast for sunday hurray, sunny intervals If you really are a hardcore basher and not namby pamby - come to crimdon if you think your baja is tough enough to enter the oval race. Canny prize for the winner this month.....so i'm told

Real shame, hope they can keep it going. IIRC they sorta had issues a few years ago as they used to be beatties, some sort of takeover or restructure happened back then. High street shops like these are all doomed the way things are going.
  4. ooohhh not long now....been trying to get the new project completed in time but the diff needs more attention than i have available... baja 5.1X is gonna try to break shiesty bils losi
  5. that doesn't look very nice at all. Is it a genuine hpi release?
  6. They look canny, will have to check them out as we could do with some new sites to visit
  7. i had a similar little bit of damage with km gears ages ago - it managed to embed some of the teeth straight through the casing. makes a change from a spur gear though
  8. don't touch billys hyper - it ran through a massive pile of doggy doo once and it still smells when it gets warm lookin forward to the endurance race round the oval
  9. Heyup, it just so happens i'm after some nitro fuel to run up an old car of mine. Are you coming to the bash at Crimdon in a couple of weeks?
  10. Tried to pm you but your inbox is full just like many unsuspecting MSUK members unaware of the new pm rules.... You still got the torches for sale bud? very interested but would like a deal excluding postage. My mate is in sheffield all the time so he could maybe collect or are you anywhere near S9 2RS? Cheers Chris
  11. +1 Bil Yeah the F-pit used to be another good site, however i'm reluctant to ever hold a NEB meet there again - it got over used. People starting going there every week for mini bashes on Saturday & Sunday as well as through the week on the sunny nights. The locals understandably got sick of it going on all the time. People running dom zorsts blasting around the car park just a couple of hundred yards away from peoples houses - to much noise & agro and there was complaints - so as a club we cannot have a "proper" bash there again. Obviously its a public park so anyone can use it freely for a little bash about, but we can't have a semi organised meet there. It was one of my personal favourite sites before it got gazetted. Tynemouth is a good spot with the cones set up and the ramps - but its too flat and sometimes the grass is too long for the smaller scales. Spennymoor is reasonable but some people (myself included occasionally) have RX/TX range issues there. There was another good site not far from where i now live in Cramlington - but it got over used by off road motorbikes and was all fenced off. The Hartlepool site has now been fenced off i'm told. So that leaves our favourite site at Crimdon, with the oval and the berm etc. As Billy says its the best site we have found, and as its only a monthly meet i'm happy to return there. Has another site been suggested? I'm happy to try new spots if they are big enough for everyone, and are better than sites we already consider. I meant to come over to the last mini bash that was on at whickham for a look of the site but never made it in the end. Whats that place like for "all" scales
  12. So does this mean that your other OBR's were fake too then?
  13. Woopee the tracking has updated on my bits from HK - should be here within the next few days as its leaving HK tomorrow and parcelforce are gonna put it on a 48hr delivery, just gotta hope that it clears customs quick. Then i will have a new toy completed to put to the sword at Crimdon......all 125cc of it.....
  14. I don't believe you..... Billy & his missus on their recent holidays:-
  15. No probs viper you have given me plenty of shots of ya mighty fine m5 bike An yes the SC shell has a certain "lived in" charm Jasjab i knew you would be straight on the prowl for a losi, you should have just kept throwing twenty quid notes at billy until he buckled...
  16. Cracking day oot at Crimdon as per usual. Paltry damage total of one baja spur gear and the SC frankenshell has a few more battle scars to be stitched.....cheers to all who came along
  17. Do i get the steering bits then, or do i have to put the huffy face on again?
  18. Who would want that pile of turd anyway? Only fit for the bin. However there is one part from that lot i need...... Steering pins and the top placky bit
  19. arghh the dust, can't breath, coff coff
  20. Yep an injun pulls firey stuff/airey stuff into the cranky, turns over moving it into the top bit thingy . I agree with you on those points, its just the way a 2 stroke injun thingy works....... However if the crank is flooded (as discussed above) - adding more fuel to the cylinder aint gonna do any good as far as i can see, unless you are igniting it through the same port via a lighter etc to burn the fuel off (if that would work or could even be attempted? nope not enough O2 for a clean burn) The crank (if flooded) will just flood the cylinder again and/or prevent sufficient combustion airey stuff entering imo. But like i say i'm no expert.... As mentioned, remove plug, turn upsidedown etc and pull starter a few times then leave alone to drain off if it is flooded
  21. +3 peace on earth However in acceptance of a reality that might actually happen -- santa please can i have a anderson m5 and please could santa speak to our friends in Hong Kong about getting some of these new fangled brushmeshless motors and lipro-umbrella batteries to suit aforementioned rc motorbike....
  22. If its flooded i don't see how adding more fuel is gonna sort it.....? i'm not claiming to be an expert but that ain't right.. If i have a flooded motor, take plug out, turn the car over(upsidedown nearly) and yank pullstart a few time to clear the head. Refit plug and try again. If its terminally flooded best to leave overnight as others have mentioned, as the crankcase could be full lol However have you tried the doh obvious like the carb gaskets - hole wrong way, air leak
  23. Were they working ok last time you had them out? How long ago did you last charge them? Days/weeks/months/years?? The first one sounds like dead batt cells to me, have you tried the battery from the other car? Try that then report back
