  1. I cant remember, this post is a year old
  2. Have you tried recalibrating the ESC with the Tx? Tells you how in the manual. http://traxxas.com/sites/default/files/7008-manual_0.pdf Are you using lipo or nimh batteries? might also be worth checking all the connections are good. Is it the same in reverse? Also, what colour light is on the ESC when you are running the car. Bit more info will help cheers
  3. All valid comments. I have both the ERBE and the MERV. I find its handy to just put the mini revo in a backpack and take it away when on holidays etc. My daughter loves playing with it, I like that you can set the ESC to training mode, so the young ones can have some fun. It can be a moneypit though! Cheers
  4. Just finished building mine. I'll throw some pics up later.
  5. cheers jamesb I linked mine up tonight and put the latest (beta) firmware on it. I then redid the throttle settings. Hopefully it will be ok, otherwise I'll have to get it looked at
  6. I have a problem with my MMM at the moment. Took the car out yesterday and the esc completely died, nothing. I opened it up and underneath is some wires with a plug on, i unplugged this from the board then plugged it back in and it started working again. Going to see if it holds up but do you think it has a problem? (sorry to hijack the thread but I thought it saves making a new one) Cheers Minty
  7. Ok i'll crank it right up. I'll also take a look at the steel gears. thanks all
  8. ah ok thanks, I was sure i'd tightened it up then loosened it of a half or quarter turn. ha ha well i'll give it another go, cheers Strada
  9. Hi All After some advice, using standard gearing on my erevo 18/54 and I just set it up for its first run after a complete rebuild. Mesh looked fine etc but after a run of about a minute I completely destroyed the spur gear. The ring of the gear had actually snapped away from the centre thats held in with the 3 screws, mangled plastic everywhere.and plastic melted onto the screws. I made sure the slipper was set correctly and the mesh looked ok, I have set the mesh up many times before. any ideas? I have bought a replacement slipper clutch, spur gear and also the rest of the assembly, just don't want to make the same mistake again. It can't have been the mesh incorrect as it would have destroyed the teeth, they were fine. Its just the actual spur had snapped and mangled?!? Thanks Minty
  10. Interested in turnigy accucell 6 lipo charger with powerpack and lipo bag if you split. Cheers MintyUK
  11. I'm sure these fit the erevo as well?
  12. Sorted, bought an ace servo, heavy duty spring, blank plate and a single arm. The revo is going to have a full rebuild in my week off with a load of new upgrades added
  13. Hydro, Just bought this off him. Cheers MintyUK
  14. I was thinking of going for the ace ds1015 servo as I don't need to run a BEC. Worth going for that over a savox? I was going to get an Alu arm then the heavy spring saver as well. Any thoughts?
