15s is the limit so thought I’d get as near as possible and see what happens, I’m very impressed with this esc, the car has a lot more potential in the dry if the tyres can hold up and not explode, did some donuts to try and get some heat in the tyres but that didn’t help, hopefully it’s dry next week and I’ll take it out again and get a video this time, I think with a longer run I would of got more speed but the closer I got to the airfield the more interference and loss of control I was getting.

Managed to get out with this today and finally tested the mgm, tried on 14s to start off with and it’s an animal, weather conditions were cold and road/driveway were wet which caused a lot of sideways spinning and crashing into the grass banks, managed to get a couple of good runs, best being 60mph with a gradual increase in speed to reduce wheel spinning, I’m hoping for a dry day to take it back out again but possibly in a different place, the road leads up to a private airport which is causing problems due to signal loss, did try the car on 7s and managed to get 45mph but didn’t bother taking a photo of that, temperature of the motor and esc were cold to touch, mgm/lehner combo has been well worth the cost so far, I’m hoping for 80mph on a dry day. I’ve got the flier, alien and mgm not used any of them yet, saviown has used the flier with good results, don’t bother with the castle as it’s a waste of time for anything other than a 2wd baja, max5 was impressive though powered my xs5 well Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The hobbywing max 5 is better than the castle, warranty is better after sales is better, if you want something more powerful then go for alien or a flier esc, if you can afford it get an mgm but that’s mega money Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
