Thanks for all the above guys, doesn't seem to break even when the engine's off. I think I will have to take it apart to inspect what's wrong. I assume the breaks are internal and hidden inside the case? I can't see anything that looks like a break underneath (photo attached)

So I have decided it's going to be a good idea to buy a used Savage Nitro and give it a go 😅 It has a Hobao 28 engine on it. I'm completely new to Nitro... managed to get it started but it just goes. No way to make it stop at all...what am I missing here? Attached is a short video. (Engine stops at the end as fuel ran out). Any advice is welcomed 🙏 thanks IMG_8076.mov

Thanks for all your answers... Battery voltage is good and car rolls fine no binding. I will have to get a another esc and swap to eliminate issues i guess. I didn't know the esc can be set to 3s...but i seem to remember the default was 2s?

Need some advise from a pro as I just can't figure this one out... I have got an FTX Outlaw with Arrma BLX100 esc and Surepass 3660 3100kv motor. It used to run fine but this week whenever I try to get going, it will drive for about 10 seconds and then would start cogging and then wouldnt go anymore. -Battery is 2s 5200 80c, fully charged -I turn it on and off-same issue after a few seconds. -I have reseted the esc back to default setting- didnt help -I have also tried setting the throttle limits on the esc-nope. Anything comes to mind? 🙏

Stormbringer- Did you simply remove the middle nitro gear and connected the motor or did you add a slip gear or central diff? Also what ratio gearing would be best? Thanks

Thanks Bajadre- You through me in the right direction but i'm not sure it's OFNA... I now found two names for it : Himoto RXT-28 Team VTX-ST1 (VTX and Himoto are the same?) I even found the manual-attached if any interest... Now the challenge is to source parts, but it's in good shape and seems super strong to be honest. Have you seen any of these converted to brushless? I assume 4s-6s minimum as it's quite heavy. I guess I would find some examples on youtube... rxb.pdf

Hi I've landed an old Losi Mini 8ight buggy (model is LOSB0224T1). Im looking for some parts- front suspension arm, bumpers, spoiler mount, battery strap etc... Seems very hard to come by, and most come from the US? Any advise is welcome. It would also be good to know if parts from another model or maker would fit in too? Thanks IMG_1586.HEIC

Brillient!😂 almost seems like it's too powerful for the car to handle but that's part of fun the for sure. I wasn't aware about the turn limit on the ESC- will definitely double check that, but regardless, i think i'll look for another combo as you suggested...thanks! I will my new 2S 5200 Lipo. Should be ok I think
