Well the carnage is finally finished, didn realise but iv blown the gears up in the original servo so had to switch it out for the acoms lol but should be ready to rock tomoz providing the battery's are charged 🤠 The pic is of it nearly complete jus missing the bumper an gear cover, I also found out the 2 pins on the Ali chassis can be removed so happy days

Also need some new tires as the standard ones have cracked loads and ain't gona last long at this rate lol

Well since puttin some heavy duty grease in the center diff it's completely changed the truck, it now takes off faster than it ever has and it's more stable in the corners 🤠 even had it drifting yesterday 🤠 hope to take it out Sunday weather permitting and if I do IL try an record it

Does anyone have the Ali chassis? Jus been lookin at the pictures for it an looks like there's 2 screw mountings that are right where the center shaft is goin to be , can anyone confirm that shaft isn't fouled by them?

Yup it's understandable that it goes to the next breakable part, that's why I'm goin Ali chassis, top plate will be the next bit I reakon or the diffs, possibly the motor will give up quicker lol but there's not goin to be much to break soon, hopefully with Ali everything it's heavier so won't want to flip as much but only time will tell lol, having soo much fun with my nitro ATM so kinda not bothered about the carnage lol had it racing a 3speed savage x an running rings around it earlier.. well until the savage pull start broke 😂🤣😂🤠 both my trucks are bargain bucket jobs and last soo much longer than, traxxas and hpi put together. Will be stayin well away from them na jus buyin FTX and Carson from now on

Sorted the center diff, also refilled the rear shocks as they were gettin sloppy an now they have there bounce back 🤠 ... Fingers crossed it's 4wd again an not jus front lol and hopefully the shocks ain't too stiff now but at least I can drop it from waist high an it not bottom out lol

Well took the Carson out today an noticed it's sending I'd say 80% to the front wheels so gotta get some diff oil, gona give it a good clean in a mo as it's dusty as hell now

Yup showin off to my brother in law, as the Dumbo with gyro across gravel is awesome an went a bit too fast into a post, literally jus put the Ali front arms an everythin onto it too, was the 3rd battery through it on the brand new plastic chassis 🤦🤣🤣 Ali chassis should be here tomoz/Saturday so not all bad, and iv got a spare diff case so gona rebuild it Saturday afternoon lol

Yup defo is a god send, but it's the chassis that's broken now, got a Ali on order anyway so be back out Saturday lol

eBay has the RW 49t hardened steel spur gear, but Ur going to need the pinion to match it, think modelsport still has the pinion in stock

Got the dumbo x6 and x6fg and can't get the failsafe to set up properly, can anyone help with this?

Iv found out the new specter and virus parts fit these so not too bothered about break-in it, if it's still on eBay end of the week I might be tempted to get it, but have snapped the carnage chassis again and ordered a new Ali one, misses won't be best impressed if I get another Monty 🤣🤣

We did that, but when I took it off his engine I realized that the spring hasn't gone jus the cord, so got him to use one of his old cords until we can find a roto start that will fit, but cheers for the help buddy

Happened at such a low speed aswel lol, hit a post an the chassis snapped and tore the one screw out of the front diff 🤣 was goin soo well too Edited with picks of damage, and chassis was brand new. Anyone who is thinkin of doin the Ali arms, I would seriously consider doin the chassis aswel lol on the up side the front bumper worked well as if it was the standard one it would be broken too lol time to put the Dumbo x6fg into the nitro now

Hi all, brother in law has a savage with a big red dynamite engine, but the pull start has broken on it, he's wantin to go roto start but not sure which one will actually fit it. So my question is does anyone one have this engine and if u have roto start, which brand/one u using? Any help would be much appreciated

Nothin damaged, ran the 2s an 3s through it, only niggle is the reverse don't work as good as when it's on the etronix so goin back to that, gyro is awesome tho lol And because it's not been ran in about a month the battery's don't seem as good but hopefully they come back after a few more run cycles. Also the Zorro bumper is amazing in long grass, it now glides across it with the big plate compared to jus gettin stuck lol best buy so far for it.

Price has been reduced on the other Montana on ebay, it's now 100 plus postage so looks a much better deal now, might get it Friday if it's still on there

Dumbo x6 with x6fg fitted, works amazing and soo fast response compared to the standard etronix, and gyro looks like it's gona be some good fun lol can't wait to take it out on 3s later 🙂

Well as I said, this is the Zorro bumper fitted, looks soo much better than the standard bumper, sticks out a bit much but as long as it lasts longer than standard I don't mind lol also added the pics of the Ali front upgrades, next is the wheelie bar and the x6fg

Fitting the Zorro bumper tomorrow, so will get some pics once it's on, havnt long finished the Ali front arm an hub upgrade tonite, also fittin the Dumbo x6fg tomorrow too and takin it out in the afternoon so IL try an get a video or 2 of it workin. Only thing left to upgrade now is the chassis, top plate an battery plate, which I'm ordering Friday 🤠 goin Ali chassis as the carbon jus don't look all that great imo

Had it out again today, ran 2 tanks of fuel but glow igniter ran out of juice 😢 that's now on charge, iv also messed the brakes up so take to take it all apart.. again 🤦 had it fittin full speed earlier tho an man does it rip 🤠 every time iv taken it out it's gettin faster an faster 🙂 jus as soon as I let off the throttle the brakes are on lol so gotta tweak them a bit more Still really happy with it and can't wait to go out again 🙂

Well today didn go as planned, brother in law broke his pull start on his savage x and then blew the pinion and spur on his xmaxx, and I broke the Montana bein stupid an takin it on loose gravel and I also cooked the front brake so need to order some new bits for that🤣🤣 he's now strippin both his trucks ready for next Wednesday and I'm strippin mine down to check the diffs and ordering some new brakes and possibly a diff lol Oh the joys of owning rc's 🤣

I can get faster speeds on grass and gravel compared to tarmac, wheels jus spin and lose grip so easy lol but I am usin off road tires so kinda get why

Awesome, I'm usually out for a good HR as got 2 batterys, an that's most weekends since end of June, usin the etronix in my nitro now an usin that for a few hrs most days now, next week I'm out all week as it my birthday lol Happy days 👍 I know I should take them out jus too lazy an they have still lasted 🙂 not even decent Duracell either jus normal ones lol Got a Dumbo RC with gyro goin in the carnage Tuesday as misses won't let me have it sooner 😢 so hopefully that lasts jus as long
