  1. Nice Gizmo maybe needs a bigger bed lol
  2. Cool will have to go and post there 👍 Thanks, she is a brave friendly cat, she likes dogs even big dogs like Dalmatians lol. I'm wondering if she was maybe a Feral kitten and not dumped and maybe related to that other Feral Cat as they were instantly friendly together touching noses lol
  3. .... we need a cat thread now to keep the cats separate from the house stuff 😆
  4. Thanks yours are nice too 👍 I find cats easier to look after than dogs. Cats just look after themselves while your at work and do there own thing I think he's maybe a hybrid cross or something, don't think he is pure Scottish Wild but looks like he has some in him. He follows me everywhere now in the garden when he's here. He seems to adapt to the seasons eg first time we saw him was in the winter and he was big with alot of winter fat / weight on him and extra fur to keep warm then in summer He lost his weight and shedded his fur to stay cool, I thought he was ill but by winter he was chunky again ready for the cold 😆
  5. Dumped cat She's good at fetching mice back alive to play with as pets or for the Feral Cat to eat lol
  6. Gumtree Cat, she's good at killing insects
  7. Wild Feral Cat (Has a bit of Scottish Wild Cat look to him) Good mouse / animal killer Size of him next to the other Cat
  8. Might be one hidden in the attic somewhere lol... Attic wise I found - a large old tree felling saw - a creepy old doll with half its hair missing and eyes that blinked when you moved / leaned it back and forward (think my partner binned it as she didn't like it and I haven't seen it for a while now lol) - old vintage rat and mouse traps
  9. Lol got 2 well technically 3 when he's here. Started with 1 we adopted from someone giving her away on Gumtree. Then a small cat appeared at the back door one frozen night crying. Took her in and took to the vets the next day to check for a micro chip bit she didn't have one. The vet said she was maybe just dumped and she found her way through the fields to our house for help. took her home and the vet said if anyone calls for her they would call us but no one did so that was cat 2. Number 3 is a wild feral cat that we kept spotting and leaving ripped open rabbits who finally trusted us then slowly worked his way into the sunroom of the house and then we allowed him in the main house when someone watches him so he doesn't spray. For a large male cat he is friendly to the 2 female cats and just keeps to himself and leaves them alone. Pictures on the way 🙂 Spider wise we seem to be quite lucky that we don't really get many here but the stripy cat likes to kill and eat insects
  10. Lol all started from asking about a motor noise... Yea houses back then we're built solid. I got a big long SDS drill bit to run a wire through the wall outside and it was no where near long enough... plus drilling into stone isn't as easy as brick. Want to pull the plaster board off and re do bits but I have a feeling there will be mice popping there heads into the room when I do 😆
  11. We have our own 1800's house thread now lol. Are all your internal walls solid as well or has the floor plan been adjusted and walls replaced with stud partition walls? Mine are still all solid and give very poor WiFi and phone signals. Ended up getting a Deco X55 3 pack setup and running cat6 cables to them all 👍 The Deco x55 is rated to cover a new build style 4-6 bedroom house.... I needed it to cover a 1 bedroom 1850s cottage 😆
  12. Nice, Yea guessing you took it out and used lime mortar? Some past owner decided to have the full outside cement Rendered on the cottage I purchased... Apparently it was the in thing to do years ago but now it's just causing damp as the walls can't breath naturally!!! Looks like its going to be a ball ache to remove as well... Hoping removing the mass of added insulation in the loft will help Messy job... full of rat and mouse nests / droppings and dead birds etc....
  13. Nice the cats claimed the fire. Just out of interest is the outside of your house rendered ?
  14. Is yours built from stone as well? Mines a stone built cottage from 1850. Amazing how they a sit the stones ontop of each other all of various sizes. I uncovered the original fireplace and removed all the infill that was put in and ended up with this -
  15. Thanks will try removing the pinion and seeing how it sounds. Been busy removing all the Itchy attic insulation stuff so thought I would ask first before looking at the truggy, Didnt remove all the stuff left the original, just removing the stuff that's been added to see if it stops damp issues... think it's had too much put in by them government warm house schemes over thr years before I bought it... Thanks
  16. Seems to be making more noise than normal when its slowing down off power, is this what it sounds like when the motor is on its way out? Thanks
  17. Yea the bearing is fine its like the hole the drive cup shaft goes into has worn or the drive cup shaft has worn giving excess play I will have a go at shimming it 👍
  18. Is diff play like this normal or is something worn? Also slight chipped tooth on my other diff, still works fine and it's a basher, would you just run it anyway? Thanks 👍
  19. Not sure on the exact range but never had a issue and had the car out quite a distance
  20. GT3B works great for me, no issues and it's probably 10yr old
  21. Did you get it sorted?? I noticed no mention of the carb being replaced? Did you look at the carb at all? My baja wouldn't start after running great, stuck a new carb on and it fired right up Was only £20 for a Carb 👍
  22. Cool thanks, can't remember the last time I opened them, might have been a year ago lol
  23. Is it normal for diffs to loose there fluid after time or does it mean they need new outdrive seals (the case Gaskets are fine) Thanks 👍
