  1. Not had one personally but apparently they are one of the toughest 1/10s you can get so good choice 😁
  2. If anyone's interested, Looks like a decent ST Pro on ebay at the minute that's not listed as a Pro, was going to bid on it but no need now. He's got 2 of them, the other one looks like it's been used as a toilet though 💩 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/353707897755?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649
  3. He's not said what he's sending me yet, I'll probably find out tomorrow. He just said V2 plus new and upgraded parts but i'll let you know
  4. So do i lol, Hopefully it's not going to be another Carnage 🤷‍♂️
  5. Not when i was driving it like a granny. I know what you're saying but it should have never broke the way it did from a soft landing. Even Corally said sorry, so it's not like they don't know
  6. It's ok @Stormbringeri'm getting the Kronos back if you don't see my post in that thread 🤦‍♂️
  7. So i sent the car back, then Corally got back to me about the broken parts but it was too late as the car was already on it's way to AT. Corally ended up speaking to ATModels on my behalf as i was extremely ****** off they were trying to make me pay for the damage and i really don't think it's my fault this happened. Corally turned round and said pretty much no no no wtf? but more politely and then got in contact with AT. I'm now getting the car back with all the parts to repair it plus spares and a free service pack 2. I honestly can't fault Corally for the customer service they have gone above and beyond to help me and i think has probably been the best customer service experience i've ever had in my life. He really was trying to do everything he could to make sure i keep the car and hopefully he can send me the parts so this hopefully doesn't happen again. Failing that i'll just buy the Arrma balls as i've heard that pretty much fixes the issue and they have to take a really hard whack to be able to pop them out.
  8. Don't get a carnage it's trash, if a pebble even looks at it wrong it will break
  9. cool thanks mate, I've got 50k, 30k, 500k, 3k, 5k and 7k diff oils and some 1k shock oil sat here with nothing to use them on now i bought the higher K ones for the Kronos. 🤦‍♂️ I think it's either going to be an ST or MT now, the Kraton just looks like a ballache to get it to Hyper toughness, fanboys say they are touch out the box but youtube vids say otherwise. It looks like they may have changed a few bits on the "new" MT roller aswell, The shocks and arms look a bit beefier than the old ones. Not in stock until November though 😞
  10. @StormbringerHave you got a pic of the Kronos next to the ST for a size comparison for me? I loved the size and chunkyness of the Kronos and the ST looks a fair bit smaller. I wonder if there would be any adverse effect of putting bigger wheels on the ST? Have you had any "manufacturing" problems with your ST? I put a post somewhere and someone said "have fun with the ST diffs" or something along those lines but didn't go into detail of why they were bad 🤷‍♂️
  11. Considering Corally are fairly on the frontline of "big" brands and having there name out there, The Kronos is a fairly expensive piece of 💩 (even though i got it at a good price) It certainly looks the part with all the ali and carbon but the build quality was bloody terrible, 2 rounded diff screws out of the box and leaking rear shocks. I bought my VS for £130 second hand off here and sent that thing 20-30 foot in the air at a bmx track on numerous occasions and the only thing i ever broke was a lower hinge pin and the plastic bit that holds the shock to the tower. If you didn't see my other post I took the Kronos out on it's first run and it was destroyed in probably sub 30mins from a near flat landing off a 2 foot jump on grass. Not good enough. I was looking at the losi's and there counterparts aswell and most of them look crap for the price they are. You would think these companies would do a bit of R&D to work out the weak points or stuff that can be improved before putting them to market instead of sending stuff out that will break out the box. I know Hobao is probably dinosaur tech / engineering compared to todays standards but it's not like it doesn't work, from what i've seen from videos the ST Pro and VSe are absolute tanks for the money.
  12. It's a shame Hobao don't get more love than they do, I mean my VS was a beast in the time i had it but i defo need something with a fair bit more ground clearance and speed than a buugy. You know the story with the Kronos, I'll get my money back in a few days for it. Now i'm stuck between a Hyper ST roller at £340ish, A Hyper MT plus II roller at £410 or a Kraton EXB roller + RPM and ali upgrades at £500ish. I'd like to know what long term durability is like with the MT and maybe the ST. I won't be sending them as high as the video, probably half that, but it's nice to know you could without turning it into dust (like the Kronos😂) I mean just look at this...out of the box with no upgrades, I'd have thought he would have broke more than he did, the landing was horrific.
  13. I should have known it was built on a friday when i found the rounded off screw in the centre diff. Like i said the thing that pisses me off most about it was it was a relatively flat landing and i wasn't even using the car hard being it's first run. I don't know if it's just bad parts or the quality of the parts are just trash. If it had happened after like the 5th or 6th run i could forgive, suck it up and buy the arrma parts to "fix" it. Regardless no-one should be selling them being this crap, Its like buying a brand new car, driving out the forecourt and the wheels fall off and the dealer turns round and says "sorry mate can't fix it for another 10 months"
  14. I've already sold the VS as a roller and so i have a max8 and 2200kv motor, which is why i bought the kronos XTR (roller), so i've got all the electrics anyway. Got the kronos from ATModels for £315 with the 20% off they had last week
  15. I was going to get an ST in the first place and should have done tbh but thought the Kronos would be better than it was. I've seen the Kratons for £415 but my max budgets around £330, don't really want to spend any m ore than that. I'll keep an eye out for a Kraton though while i decide whether to get an ST or not lol
  16. It is a shame coz it's a lovely car, i thoroughly enjoyed my 30 minutes with it but i don't see why you should have to replace stuff that is broken from a factory defect that quickly. Nothing should be sold like that. I thought i would give them the benefit of the doubt when buying it and not go mad with it like i did the VS, so i took it exceptionally easy and it still broke and through no fault of my own, it's not good enough for the amount they are charging for it. Align-Trex is horrible to deal with aswell. Being a model shop you think they would have a bit of enthusiasm and try and help their customers out but all i've got is one sentence answers and worded like they just don't give a 💩. To top it off the post office rejected my return due to the wrong weight on the return label they provided and they didn't respond so have now had to open a case with ebay. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
  17. I don't know at the minute, the hassle i had with the carnage and how deflating this then was on it's first run has really put me off at the minute, I'll keep looking around for a cheap used ST for now but not holding my breath. May just get Kraton after christmas.
  18. Just taking my parts off it ready to box it up and both the rear shocks are leaking out the bottom seal from factory aswell.....
  19. I've heard stuff about the Kraton having bad diffs or something aswell though. Why can't you just get something you don't have to spend loads of money to upgrade it out of the box. I know there's stuff like the Xmaxx but i'm not paying that for a car even if i could afford it at the minute. I can understand the breakage if i was jumping it like my Hyper Vs but i was on pretty much flat ground with low mounds which i was jumping over, Literally less than 2 feet in the air and It landed front wheels first off one and the wheel dug into the floor for absolutely no reason and it's just destroyed the drive train on the nearside. I'd have thought at this price it would last longer than 40 f**kin minutes. I'm glad i bought it through ebay as they can't refuse the refund. I'm on the verge of giving up at the minute, The FTX carnage i bought was a piece of ****. The hyper was fantastic but too low for where i use it being a buggy and now this, the carnage lasted longer on its first run, but then broke on nearly every run after that and i don't want this to be the same as it's just deflating. It's going back tomorrow.
  20. I'm sending it back to align-trex, it shouldn't be that fragile at £400, the way the CVD has shattered from a relatively normal landing, the parts aren't fit for purpose, I can forigve the hub popping off coz i knew it would probably eventually happen I only rolled the car once and flipped it over backwards from a wheelie so it's not even like i was launching like i did with my VSe. I should have known when i took the centre diff out and one of the screws was rounded what i was getting myself into. I'm extremely ****** off.
  21. First run, second set of batteries, barely 2 feet off the floor, shattered CVD and wheel popped off the balls 🤬 and the steering arm end shattered How do you put the wheel back on? just line them up and give em a whack or?
  22. Just used the storage charge on my batteries on the front and it's mental lol. Need to do the suspension though before i take it out properly, it's waaaay too soft. I knew i should have done it yesterday 🤦‍♂️ Atleast i've got something to do while waiting for the batteries to charge!
  23. Yea i have threadlocked them, Most the vids i watched on it were wheels overtaking the car 😂😂😂 Sun's out woohoo!
  24. It's always a bit worrying when you strip the whole car down to do the diff oils, put it all back together, then find a screw on your seat when you get up. Hope it's for nothing important 😂 Checked the car over 5 times and can't for the life of me figure out where it would have come from (M3x10 button head) 🤷‍♂️ All ready to rip tomorrow, fingers crossed for no rain 🤦‍♂️
  25. Thanks guys, I'll do the grub screws when i do the diff oil (if it ever bloody turns up), I went with advice off the FB with the oils, I've got 500k for centre, 50k for front and 30k for rear so i'll see how i get on with that. Got Arrma hard springs coming aswell as i couldn't find the corally ones in stock anywhere. Knackered diff screw aside, it does look like it's been put together quite well!
