is the sst not weaker than a st? scotty try a corally shogun, it handles similar and comes with a rebranded max 8, just spent 60 quid on shogun wheels and tyres for my st a while back and it handles simlarly 🙂

I gave up with Corally after the hassle with my Kronos XTR. I think the back end of the SST is going to be too bendy and fragile for what i'll be doing with it and heard the ST Pro was better built.

I normally charge them in an ammo tin in my bedroom on the windowsill so if there's any sign of fire i can throw it out the window 😂 I've had it apart to have a look and it's melted a little chip near the pos/neg port so channel 2 is screwed now 🙄

Cheers guys, need them for my Hyper MT hubs and you never know what the quality will be like getting them off ebay. Didn't realise they had a legit website! Ordered some anyway!

RC Bearings are a solid stockist for all RC sized bearings. Been using them for many years with no problems

I've bought many sets of bearings from the RCBearings website and have no complaints.

Also, if you have a model which isn't listed on the site drop them a message and they can usually put a set together and add it to the website quickly.

  16. Has anyone ordered from Hobao USA since brexit? Just wondering if i'm going to get hit with any tax on $65ish

I recently received some bass  parts from Stewmac in the states and there were no import / customs charges at all. Order was of a similar value approx £50

      Cool thanks

  17. Just got a Hyper MT Plus ii, Took it out twice, no hard jumping and it's **** already, rear CVD keeps popping out and destroying the drive cup and nowhere in the UK has the +1mm ones in stock until mid June which in reality will probably be September.  Only option would be paying nearly twice the price from Germany. So ****** off right now.  🤬🤬🤬🤬

These, they're not in any manuals as apparently you can't even buy them unless you contact Hobao, I've got the ones on the left in the pic but they don't provide enough support to stop the rear hubs wobbling left to right. With them both attached the hubs are now solid.

Got them on today, Make such a massive difference, the rear hub is completely solid now how it should be and all the slop gone.

Thanks again for finding them @oranjedrol

yea none of em work though

i've ordered now anyway, next time! 😆

  19. How much faster do you think a 120C lipo would discharge than a 70C?
Just looking for some new batteries, the 120C are 600 more mah and £5 cheaper, i'm guessing the extra 600mah would negate most of the extra discharge rate? or have i got it wrong and it won't really be any difference?

yea i will do, i was expecting it to turn up yesterday but parcelfarce f'd me over so not coming til tuesday now 🤬

yea they are the orange and black hardcase ones. I thought they were pretty good, they would last a good 30-40 mins on my Kronos and the punch was pretty good, i had 500k in the centre diff and on punch 2 it would always wheelie on command. I didn't really get them for the punch though they were just the cheapest highest capacity i could get at the time. I had 100C goldbats previously and i would say they were on par with them so would imagine the 120C is probably a lie and would be more around the 90-100 range.

      BashingBrian

Oh, don't get me wrong they are still very good batteries, just not as good as described in my opinion..👍🏼 You really can't beat them for value.

    4. danny boy

      danny boy

Quickly to add to what to what BashingBrian said. I was watching a video from a very knowledgeable guy on YouTube (can't remember who now, was a while a go). But basically the industry method for deciding C rating was to look what your competitor was claiming, and then adding 10 to it. It's basically the reason why C rating for LiPo's has skyrocketed in the last few years. CNHL is apparently one of the worst for this. I'm not claiming CNHL are bad. I'm 90% percent convinced they are just re-branded Turningy batteries, which I always found excellent.
