    Im hearing rumours that MJX are bringing out a 1/10th hypergo MT, and that it will trash Arrma bl3 stuff as full metal gears all way through and 4S out of box, should be a total winner

      I'm also waiting to see if it lives upto the hype but the yt vid they quoted a 10 minutes run time but I hope that's 3s and it's going to be a bit of a battle with the Omni terminator that also looks good

    Does anyone know if the big Hamleys in London still has proper RC cars in there? Remember there being a big section of Tamiya kits but they don't list any online!

      We went in November and they've got rid of them replaced by Hornby and scalextrics sadly, I only know of ones out of the city

      I'm waiting for the reviews to start for the mt8 and how it handles hardcore RC abusing it in the skate park (he's the reason I just got 2 mt10s for me and my partner) before I get one

    More does and donts coming in for RC flying, starting to think maybe it really is time to stop flying and just stick to cars

      Yep it's getting stupid now, but things (from what iv seen) are going to get a heck of a lot worse for flyers (especially since the CAA won't accept new club sites so once a sites lost the flyers are strip less) over the next few years, the national trust are stopping flying on their land so the moors aren't even safe now

    Who is buying the so called retro/rare RC on ebay  as prices are beyond silly.  all i can think of is a lot of people are thinking prices are going to shoot up in the future.  I know tamiya & kyosho was collectible.   But now it just seems to be anything  even stuff that was sold in bulk at argos or dodgy market stalls.

      Yeah it's gone stupid, stuff that would go for £20 as a runner 10-15 yr ago is £100+ chassis only. Iv seen a lot of guys coming back after 10 or 20 yr (due to lockdown) wanting to relive their youth with their kids

    Has anyone else heard paypal is introducing charges for dormant accounts users must sign in before next week or face £9 per year charge. 

     

    How greedy are they.

      Iv heard about it but you do get 90 or 120 days notice (in I think 3 emails) before you get charged so it's not going to start straight away and it's only for accounts inactive for 12 months + so just use it at Christmas and you'll be fine

    Not used my Rustler for morethan 5 minutes and I already want a small scale and another Xmaxx..... This hobby is chaos!

      Just wait until you decide to have a go at racing, 3 years ago I had 3 cars sat in a corner untouched for a decade 2 years ago that snowballed to the pic after my girlfriend decided she wanted a car and we found an indoor track fairly local and since that pic another 9 runners and multitude of projects have joined the fleet (and im still looking at buying restoration projects of cars I drooled over as a kid)
