Awesome 👍
And yes there is a lot of choice indeed! Makes it hard to choose. But I think i'm gonna go for the Maverick Quantum XT Flux

Hey Savman & welcome
I'm also returning to the wonderful world of RC after a good few years (over 10 in my case!)
So i'm just learning about all the cool new tech aswell, and soon going to purchase my first brushless model 😁
Awesome car man, I love the look of these things, and they seem very decent for the money. Shame about your chassis but hey I guess if you're not breaking things then you're just not bashing hard enough!
Wow, what a nice looking model. Really interesting video dude. And i wasn't even aware that high quality nitro models like this were even being made back in 91!
As the title says, does anyone here on the forum live in or around the Portsmouth area?
It would be cool to have a few other people to mess around on my local jumps with!
Hey, welcome to the forum. 👍
Nice choice of buggy you went for there. I think I want to get something similar when I upgrade to my next model.
I'm interested to know what sort of speed this can do running a 3s or 4s lipo?
Hi Martin & welcome.
I had a quick search for you and it is quite hard to find a bodyshell for that specific model, but I think i've found one that will fit.

You dont need to spend anywhere near 160 quid, especially if its for your kid. I would recommend a WL toys 144001. I have one and its plenty fast, but small & fairly durable, easy for a novice user. And you can pick one up for £67 on Banggood
You're welcome bud. And ah yes I can imagine that trying to find parts for older models is a bit irritating. I suppose ebay could be a good place for used parts, but it's a gamble on the condition of them. Anyway best of luck👍
