  1. I have an appetite for a new build and I want this to be on portals so I naturally thought about SCX10 III. However I cannot find anywhere just raw builders kit. I don't want to build another wrangler and I don't even like this body offered by Axial and don't want to pay extra money for the body I don't need. Does anybody know any good alternatives?
  2. I also will keep my eye on it as I'm considering either FTX Texan or spend some more on this [US$385.99]RGT EX86120 1/10 2.4G Crawler RC Car RTR Vehicle Models W/ Head Light RC Vehicles from Toys Hobbies and Robot on banggood https://banggood.app.link/eCqRQqsCZfb It's a bit pricey but looks great. Has anyone tried it at all? I know it's nearly Absima price, but I just love FJ Cruiser
  3. Eventually winter arrived so I had some fun in the snow today. It was windy as hell so I only lasted few minutes 😁❄️❄️
  4. Absolutely fantastic pics[emoji122] Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  5. Absolutely love the paintwork. I'm not great fun of lexan bodies but it looks stunning Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  6. Maybe try with a different battery. It is quite common that batteries having some power in them anyway Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  7. I have invested £6.50 in high lift from ebay. I think that was money well spent[emoji16] I just need to find right place for this now. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  8. Thank you. It just says on them Super Swamper and Rock Tyre. But they are cheap set from Banggood. I got them with metal beadlock wheels for about 40 USD. They are very soft and grippy. I'm very happy with them Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  9. Once again thanks everyone for their advices during my build. It helped a lot especially regarding choice of ESC and the motor. The level of control and power is great. I was doing some 45° inclines today without any problem. Drives like a dream Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  10. More rock crawling today. I'm really impressed with its capabilities Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  11. After fitting Axial springs and a few runs it works nearly prefect. Most importantly there are no leaks. [emoji106] Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  12. A little trip to the beach... Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  13. New 110mm wheels from Banggood arrived so it needed a test. Not they look good but made the jeep almost unstoppable. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  14. A short trip to the forest today. Great thing about rain is that creates puddles [emoji16] Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  15. It arrived quickly and looks good. I filled them with oil and fitted to the rear after a small change to way of screwing it to the top mount as they as slightly wider. It is all good but they have definitely too hard springs. So I will try put originals Axial springs on them and will see what happens. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk

  17. Thank you. After hours on Internet I found some cheap 98mm long ones. I will try them first and see how it goes. Are Traxxas GTS one size or various options? I'm a bit OCD when it comes to ride height. I think it's started years ago when some cowboy mechanic fitted shocks in the wrong way in my car[emoji23] Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  18. Shocks subject is coming back again. I thought it will be easy to find correct shocks but there seems to difficulties with correct length. Standard SCX10 II is 98mm. However I can only see either 90 or 100mm. If I cannot find any 98mm I will go for 100mm unless someone can magically show me some 98mm... Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  19. Great work[emoji122] Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  20. Thank you. This is my first built and I'm still learning. Servo and ESC supposed to be fully waterproof but I'm a bit worried about the motor and battery. Had few proper splashes and so far so good. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  21. Quick run today after rain. I'm still quite cautious with deep water Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  22. Looks amazing [emoji106] Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  23. Thanks! I'm intending to put bigger wheels and some other staff to add scale details. Then it hopefully will be finished Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
