  1. This is the coolest conversion I think I've ever seen. I've just acquired a reasonable HB LSP and will be going about a brushless conversion soon - just trying to pull together the kit list that I need - then I'll get started. If you could offer any advice on what parts you've used I'd be very grateful. All the best. George.
  2. Holy thread resurrection Batman! I've just acquired a really nice LSP from eBay - pretty much stock - with the plan of converting to brushless for park and skatepark bashing. If anyne has a comprehensive list of required parts I'd be really grateful - I'll start by stripping the donor car down and rebuilding the diffs, obvs 🙂 Planning to run on 2s or 3s Lipos so that I can share the batteries between the LSP and my other cars. Many thanks, Cleggy.
  3. Hey folks, would be grateful for any Scottish RC meets to be posted here for non Facebook users. Many thanks.
  4. I've left Facebook and would like to join future RC Scale Scotland meets, posting here in the hope of receiving notifications.
  5. Some have converted to 4 wheel steering buddy. Or a stronger servo with shaved lugs on the diff housing, which serves me well.
  6. Check the position of the choke buddy, maybe also reset carb needles. Heating up the block with a hairdryer for a few minutes often works too.
  7. I'd say Vapextech buddy. But, after resisting for several years, I've just gone lipo. No regrets.
  8. There'll be loads buddy, but better go on Facebook where these things are much better marketed and easier to find. I'm up in Glasgow and we regularly get over 20 people at a meet.
  9. Jack, there's a great FB Mauler owners group with advice on shortening the wheelbase. No need for new rods, just drill a few holes.
  10. It's a great crawler so long as you grease up the moving parts and spend around £70 extra on better electronics. I run mine with a decent receiver, Hobbywing 1080 ESC, HPI 35T motor and a Turnigy servo. Around 4 hours runtime on a 5200 2S lipo or 1.5 hours on the 2000 NiMH. Maybe find a local crawler group of Facebook and tag along with them, crawling is great and even better with friends. There are some great FB Mauler groups too.
