And so it begins… This was going to be a quick and easy refresh - a new body (that I bought 3yrs ago) and a new set of wheels (that bought last week)…but that plan didn’t last long 🤣 So nothing had changed with my 10.2 since my last update 3yrs ago.. It’s funny seeing my first attempt at roll cage again…WAAAYY TOOO heavy but I learned a lot about brazing. The new MST JP1 body still looks great to me. But those old wheels have gotta go! Money can’t buy you love..but it can buy you new wheels 😃 This is where my cunning plan started to go sideways. I trimmed the body when I first got it, but hadn’t noticed it didn’t really line up that well on the chassis - it’s not a mile out but it would bug me not sitting square on the frame. I don’t think it’s the body that’s twisted, I think it’s the chassis - I mean, it has more holes in it than a second hand dart board and has been apart more times than I can remember! So I decided a new chassis was called for and after a bit ‘surfing’ I’ve settled on the Rock Pirates Interceptor chassis along with some other goodies from RPRC…the shipping is £25 regardless, so might as well cover all the bases and make the most of it. Anyway, that’s it for now folks 😃

Comes with a modded Scalerfab front bumper. £65 Vanquish Products 3 gear transmission - used. SOLD Dravtech short shocks (96mm eye to eye) with soft/medium/hard springs. Brand new. Fitted but never used. Built correctly using 30wt oil and following Dluxfab instructions to the letter. Uber smooth shocks. SOLD Incision SS links 12.3 WB used. SOLD Holmes Hobbies Crawlmaster Magnum 540 11T SOLD Hobbywing Axe 550 3300kv brushless combo. Used. Works perfectly, loads of grunt, would suit a heavy rig - TRX4/6 or similar. The fan was removed due to body clearance issues but after it was all neatly fitted - so I cut the wires but these can easily be soldered back together if needed - it runs nice and cool. I know how that feels - I’ve not even looked at my rigs for over a year! 😆

I bought this a few weeks back, upgrading from my 2 line kites, but I’ve only flown it a couple of times because I just prefer my 2 line kites. I paid £199 direct from Flexifoil, so my loss could be your gain. It’s got a 2.6m wingspan and will drag you about in a decent wind, and if it get a bit too strong the bake lines will bring it back down safely. In as new condition and comes ready to fly. NOW SOLD.
