    They are cheapo ebay wheels. They seem okay in general but the supplied screws are a bit soft so you have to be careful installing them. They just have the standard TRX tyres and foams on them, so my plan is to get some good wheels and tyres once I have a handle on this trailing/crawling thing.

    Add brass portal covers to the front axle on my new TRX-4 Sport kit build, hoping that adding the extra weight up front will mean it climbs a little better. Also added a 3s shorty lipo up front, again to get the most weight over the front axle. Hope I have understood the things I have read and this will help with overall crawling performance.

    I just got a FS-GT3C for my first crawler. Haven't had a chance to use it in anger but it had some good reviews for features to cost and I like the configurability. Have already set up my end points and expo, sorted servo reversing for one channel and haven't looked at the manual yet. Seems to be a good radio for the price, I guess time will tell....

    Hi All, I'm Carl. I did the Tamiya XR311 and Grasshopper thing in my distant youth but haven't been active in RC for many years. I stumbled across some RC trail trucks and crawler videos on YouTube and was bitten by the bug again. I have just finished my first crawler build, got myself a TRX-4 Sport Kit and have had a bundle of fun building it and am looking forward to crawling it for the first time this weekend. Away from RC, I am into robotics both for fun and as a job, and have a little boat too. Hope to meet some of the UK crawling community both on the forums and hopefully in person. Carl

    Hi All, Am brand new to crawling and have been watching lots of YouTube to decide what to get. I ended up getting a TRX-4 Sport Assembly Kit, added a HW1080 ESC, the standard Titan 550 (am hoping that isn't a mistake but a Holmes Hobbies can always be added), steel bead locks, and front brass portal covers. Have just finished the build so my first crawl will be this weekend. Looking forward to crawling and hopefully meeting some other people into this at some events in the UK. Carl
