Thanks FIMS, driving wise, it doesn't go slow enough for me without juddering about.
Im seriously thinking about a brushless crawler motor and esc for better slow control.
Ive already upgraded the servo.
The balance lead extension is not the cause, I don't possess a multi meter so I'll take it back to the shop and get them to test it for me.
Am I being cynical in thinking that their reply will no doubt be 'its buggered, you need a new one', even though Ive only used it about 6-7 times?
As the title suggests, I'm getting a connection break warning on one of my lipos.
Can anyone shed any light on this?
Im guessing that while struggling to unplug it from a new charger, I may have damaged the deans plug???
Any advice guys?
Hi Jez, sorry I can't help you as I'm also fairly new to rc cars, but welcome along anyway.
Someone will be along soon to help you out, btw, what a nice homage to be having your grandads car running again. ?
As per title, my Gelande currently has a servo which is described by RC4WD as "adequate for trails and light crawling" and is "153 oz-inch at 6v".
I'm finding it quite inadequate actually, maybe something to do with a large tyre footprint but the upshot is I need a stronger servo.
Can any of you guys recommend me a good strong reliable servo? I'm guessing I'll need about £40-60 for a decent one? But that is only a guess.
My Landy is pretty much finished now so I actually got out of the back garden and down to Paddlesworth RC track for the first time.
I did want to film my Slash too but it's stripped one of the cogs, well that's what it sounds like, further investigations needed today once it's hosed off.
Very friendly crowd at Paddlesworth, just what a curious newbie needs. ?
I wont be long after that, I'll be hooning my Slash around first for about an hour, then onto the crawler course for a few hours. ?
If you hear a slash or see a beaten up Landy, be sure to come and say hi. ?
