Yeah I looked at V1 when it first came out but decided to wait. Then had my mind set on V2 but after doing research I found this. Figured less modification for different shells etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Finally took the plunge and bought my first 1/10 Crawler! It’s not a Traxxas or Axial but we all start somewhere. Did loads of research on Ftx outbacks etc but went for this due to the longer 280mm wheelbase instead of outback 250mm. Also has stand alone esc and rx, rather than the ftx 2in1. Arrived today. Love it already. Climbs cushions and coffee tables perfectly haha. Big plans for different shells and scale parts etc. D90 shell hopefully soon and also a Jeep shell on the way from China for £6 [emoji108] Will try and update this post with future upgrades, also my instagram: @crawlandexplore

Connected all wires but motor does not run when controller pressed. Servo works etc but motor don’t. Motor works fine putting power straight to it from battery but not when connected to esc...any advice? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Found the micro servo I had lying around but will need to change the plug unless I go down the route of changing all electrics... Also going to swap the tyres off my old 1/16 HB crawler... Stock tyres on the left. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thought I would start a thread for my 1/16 C14. Pretty new to all things RC and learning all the time. Picked up this as a little project while I save for a scale/crawler. Also to take it apart and learn the parts and electrics etc. Bought the ready to run version and arrived the other day. Box looked like it had been thrown out of the plane but worked fine. Future plans are paint, weather and detail. Also change tyres and fit accessories included. First electrics upgrade will have to be a servo too. Stock one is shocking. Any advice on upgrading electrics very cheaply? I do have a cheap SG90 micro servo lying around... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I took a gamble on a RTR one too. Arrived but box looked liked it had been thrown out of the plane from China haha. Battery didn’t work but had a spare lying around with same connector and there’s no steering at all. Completely un-drivable. So either going to try and return, or buy a cheap servo and attempt to mod it... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looks so much better on the 280mm chassis and would be less work. My plan was to get the bolt on arches for it anyway so the originals would go. But huge thanks for clearing up the versions. I wasn’t keen on the bowler shell at first but after watching a few vids, it has grown on me. I’ll probably go for that once I’ve sold my drift car. Thanks for the help.

Do you have a RGT?

Anyone have one of these? Reviews, better than Ftx outback 2? Does it come the 390 motor as the specs says 280...? Easy enough for upgrades etc. Any help appreciated. Complete noob in the Crawler world, although I do have a couple of cheap Chinese trail/crawlers. 1/18 HB Rock Crawler and 1/16 WPL C14 Trail Truck.

I did look at the RGT, but the bowler/defender shape ones seem to be equivalent to the outback version 1 chassis with shocks inside of chassis etc. The truck version, I think has the new outback v2 chassis though. But only says it has a 280 motor. Where as outback has 390 on v2...

Has anyone done this yet. Shells are around £30 from China but wheelbase in them is 275mm, outback wheelbase is 250mm. Just wondered how you would go about extending the axle and if any other mods would need to be done to make them fit. Seen on YouTube that a few people have made them fit but no guides or explanations to how... planning on getting an outback soon and want to change body as first mod.

Hi, So has anyone found any other shells that fit these. I was looking at Outbacks because I want to crawl but with realistic scale looks. Although these look like better crawlers but I’d want a realistic scale truck body on it...
