Have you had a look at Hobao hyper? the VSe model is a great 1/8 buggy basher and can also be competitive in racing you have a great budget and theres plenty to have a look at.

I have had both good and bad delivery times with banggood and aliexpress. some hobao parts from aliexpress came in 7 days but some mtb lights that i bought with the same order, are still in transit from the 1st of august. Similar with banggood but in this case it seems that RC parts are shipped pretty fast or i may of just been a lucky one.

Massive front end impact with the H7 into a clay mound and i thought it was a write off.. all it did was this and knocked 2 screws off the lipo tray.. im impressed Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hyper ST brushless roller Bad parts.. Shocks included are from a H7 i think Paint job is utter shi.. No wheel hex nuts No body pins O rings packed into the rear diff cups 2 lower arms have opposite thread screws Bits of rust on the dog bones etc Not sure on what oils are in the diffs It has been a really good basher for me but i just prefer 8th BL buggies Has an ST motor mount Hobao battery tray 1/5 scale wheels I would trade or some sort of deal for a 8th brushless buggy roller or something, otherwise im not sure what price so ill just say £100 plus £16 postage and let people correct me if im too high Im located in ossett, wakefield just incase anyone local wants to collect I have tried to be as honest as i can and if i have forgotten anything i will update asap Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Easy to get to, follow the postcode wf4 5eh all the way down under the railway bridge and the car park is immediatley after. Google maps will give you an idea as to wether you feel it is Walkable.

Repaired a leaky hyper 7 diff and started another 7TQ brushless conversion since i got a day off work

M4 cap heads steering knuckles for the 7/ST and double sided foam tape

With the second hand option, you could buy a good condition used nitro roller and convert it yourself, its an enjoyable process but then again it depends on your budget

I think the problem could be that when they were stored away, there was a starter box and a hyper 7 sat on top of the ST.... ? they had been stored about 9 months said the seller lol. for now i have put some shocks from my SS on and they seem to do the trick, but i havnt tested fully yet so will see. are hong nor big bores readily available?

Thanks, the VS shocks are installed and are staying on the ST now, i have ordered some hong nor springs that are firmer than the ones already on. From what i have read, the ST is on the heaviest side of truggies lol.

Hi guys Recently done a hyper ST brushless conversion and with the weight of the lipo esc and motor, the standard shocks seem to sag quite alot i have tried some big bore shocks from a VS just to see how they fair up and its a touch better than stock. If i stick with stock shocks then is there any harder springs available? Or shall i fiddle around with shock oils? Thanks

Im not sure on the model you have but i had a desert wolf for 5 days but got rid because it kept going into thermal shutdown on 2s, i tried 3s for around 25 secs and it shut down. Not sure if its same esc though
