  1. I use that GPM servo mount on my Arrma Outcast. I was a bit unsure at first because its a lot thinner then the other 3rd party mounts buts is been fine and it costs a lot less as well
  2. Posted Monday, arrived today. Not bad from Hong Kong, nice one GPM ?
  3. I've used these for shimming the bearings on the output drive on the diffs - https://www.modelsport.co.uk/core-rc-shims-13-x-16-x-0-2-pk10/rc-car-products/421882 Also Losi LOSA3505 gasket set fits if you cant find Arrma gaskets, though the O rings in that set won't fit as they are too big
  4. Yep. I've made a few servo extension leads with them Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  5. These are the ones I use https://www.amazon.co.uk/Velleman-VTECT2-Non-Insulated-Terminals-multicolored/dp/B00SNELQ30 Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  6. Sealed bearing kit from RC Bearing for the Outcast Not the postie but a loft find from my sister in law
  7. I have 2 x 2s 5000mah, 2 x 3s 50000mah and 1 x 6s 5000mah blue Turnigy which I bash in my Arrma Outcast. I've had them nearly a year and are used regularly and have been faultless and they all last about 35/40 mins
  8. That sir is an awesome shelf and I would love to have something like that ?
  9. Totally agree with that choice. I bought some recently and I use them in a Dewalt impact driver and they have been flawless [emoji106] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  10. Painted a new body shell for the Outcast and a new set of boots
  11. Love that part of the country. We stayed at Cheddar Spa site for a week back in August and loved it
  12. Sent the Outcast and broke it again....bent shock tower, body shell has finally given up the ghost and brace stop broke. Run,break, repair, repeat ?
  13. A week off work so took the Outcast out for a bash. Broke a diff outdrive and battered the bodyshell some more. All fixed, more hot glue to the bodyshell, ready to do it all over again tomorrow ?
  14. Yeah I hate the £8 ransom for my spares but most of the time the cost of the parts from the states with all charges is cheaper then buying here. For example I needed a few bits for the centre diff which you can by complete over here for £45, if you can find stock. But from jennysrc I got a complete centre, brand new for £31 with all charges
  15. I have an Arrma Outcast and I love it, it gets bashed to hell and keeps coming back for more. Like all RC's Arrma need a little tweaking i.e stock servo is rubbish but that is soon rectified by swapping in something better. Reading on various forums and Facebook pages, Horizon Hobby have been very quick in replacing broken parts under warranty. As for the spares, yes they are a bit thin on the ground but they are slowly coming through. I usually try horizonhobby.co.uk, modelsport.co.uk and wheelspinmodels.co.uk. Ebay is also very good for spares if you don't mind buying from the USA or Germany. jennysrc in the USA have a website and are on ebay as well and they are a breakers of new rc's and their prices are very good, though there is the wait and possible custom charges
  16. Just took out my ECX Amp MT, which I haven't run for nearly a year and while it was fun, my god was it slow!!! I've been spoilt by the Arrma Outcast. Think I'll have to invest in Goolrc combo to give it a boost
  17. Took the Outcast out but was cut short by a dry solder joint on the motor But all fixed now
  18. Excellent job on that Porsche, I love it!!
  19. Might of some use to someone - 2.5 HP Air Compressor from Aldi for £59.99 +£3.95 del using code 'COMPRESSOR20' at checkout https://www.aldi.co.uk/workzone-2-5-hp-air-compressor/p/085433223920500
  20. A few spares for the Outcast Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
  21. Don't worry about the balance leads flying around because built into the battery tray are two slots and a clip, that the balance lead plugs fit into. I use 2x3s lipo's and both plugs fit in there easy. As for the lipo's themselves I use 40c Turnigy, 1x6s and 2x3s lipos and they have never puffed, so you should be ok with 45c ?
  22. A grey card, holding my diff to ramson ? Robbing gits!!
