  2. Essentially look at a forklift design, unbalanced when unlaided but once youve weight on the front axle its stable and the rear steer pivots you around the front axle, just the like forestry vehicle XV Pilot posted Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk

  11. Went and picked up a hobbywing esc + motor + programmer package for my first foray into brushless Hw Xerun sct pro 120a esc, with a sensored hw 2250kv motor. 13. Well its here, distance between front & rear axles is the same as the schumacher sst rally ive got, hubs have a bit more distance between them. Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk
  14. Further googling has come up with a varient of pirate 10 RT , which looks the same too but with the big wheels and without the spoiler, so at least i should be in the ball park for spares if needed Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk
  15. I think looking at the spoiler we might have winner. Theres an image of one here on msuk So it's very possible its not a 1/8 but a 10 with big wheels. Hmmm still what to do with it Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk
  16. I wanted abit of a off roader project, as ive got 2 on road cars (sst rally bushed electric & acme cyclone - nitro) so wanted something a little more robust. Can anyone held id this chassis ive won on ebay? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/222250281738 I dont know yet if im going to restore it to nitro or maybe look at brushless, but we'll see. 17. Thanks for the welcome, ive been a picked up a new 5300 nimh battery at the weekend. God these last so much longer than the original 1700 & 2000 nimh's i had. Sorted out some steering issues and an accelerator issue (using an v.old sanwa sabre dash) as the pot had moved inside so the esc wasnt detecting full movement unless on full trim. The motor is a Reedy Pulse R which i think is a 14t but no markings to say other wise. It was fun to run it out in the street, going look at the gearing next, currently running a 20p and 86 spare , ive a few other pinions and a 83 spare Am i right in thinking the 83 will give a better topend? 18. Im Leeds based, what sort of thing is everyone running? Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk
  19. Hi, I'm Mark, i live in the Leeds area, and i'm a thirty something. At the moment i'm not overly an active RC'r but ive and old Schumacher SST Sport 1/10 car with an equally as old brushed motor. I've also got an Acme Cyclone 1/10 Nitro (yes i'm cheap [emoji2] ) I keep meaning to dig them out and give them a clean up, but i need to have a brush up on what the electric world is looking like now, as i know i could do with a new esc & batteries so what should i renew/change? I'd also like to build a truggy type thing from scratch but i'll see on that one, one step at a time. Mark. Sent from my HTC One M8s using Tapatalk
