And there was me thinking this was waterproof ffs. Damm. Spoke to the bloke I bought it from and he said this... If you have steering but nothing else,the ESC may need recalibrating,i have asked FTX to send the procedure for this as it is a sequence using the set button you mentioned before. The symptons sound like the condition you have ie.steering but no power. Someone may have posted the sequence on the internet,but i will forward it on to you as soon as we get it.

The fan on esc is working and light on esc is working too, another thing is it doesn't beep to confirm on and tx/rx connected. Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk

Quick update, after multiple times trying to bind/re bind I'm flummoxed. I have servo steering only. No bleeps from rx no drive, Help! What is going on.? Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk

Question, if anyone has the answer... Went out for a bash today, had a bloody good run, so much fun it should be illegal lol, But after running through wet grass and jumping grassy burms for some time, I had the bottom end of my suspension come away from the threaded end, so that stopped play, Got home fixed it with superglue re-bent the wheelie bar back into shape, But when I switched on mext time no bleeps nothing, fan on esc working lights on rx working but no connection. So I re bind the tx and rx lights show done, but same after removing bind plug no bleeps. Have I got something too wet maybe, whats going on I dont know, im mew to rc, but if it was an engineering problem I could have it sorted, but it seems as if rx and tx are not communicating. Did look like this, parts came, so I got to work fitted fiddly shock socks, replaced lower suspension arm, thread locked everything and went for a spin in the Rain, wow, these things are nimble in the wet too. Looks like this now Only one carbon tower at moment, waiting on loads on back order, cant wait to fettle her all fit. Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk

Done it managed to find exactly what you described about five mins after I posted, yeah got a few bits coming from freeprawn, modelsport, and wheelspin, due to some bits being out of stock /back order business, also got a front bumper from t bone coming too, they look wicked adorning the carnage. Well I charged the battery on stock charger for four hours. Then the lights said done, I went for a spin, didnt want to rinse it straight away just get the feel and so on, because im still waiting on my lipo alarm to come. Ten minutes in and after some serious speed jumps and tearing up the private road out back I slammed it imto a pile of pallets I got out there for fire wood, and right on the block part of the pallet so a hard slam! Oops lol. Broke the front right lower suspension arm, oh well **** happens, so got on net ordered some more straight away, but whilst taking broken arm off from wheel end no problem, but closer to thr chasis side hmmmmmm, how do I slide the pin out? Cant work out which bits I need to remove to slide it out, any help would be greatly appreciated, And hound, and noj, thanks hahaha. Great forum. Loving it so far.

Hi all, new member to the carnage club here, have read about 100 + pages of this very informative thread, and it was at that point I decided to take the plunge and buy a bl carnage, then went various websites gathering the bits I wanted, a better charger, more lipos, carbon towers and top plate, Heatsink, t bone front bumber, sheet of lexan to make gravel/DIRT gaurds for the guts of her, Pretty much everything I learnt from reading this thread, love reading all the posts, live in Hertfordshire and may come down to Westmill at some point in the future to meet a few of you in person, cant express how much I have enjoyed reading it all ups downs even the 6s stuffs (madness lol ?), just wanted to ask is there anything I may have forgotten to order, any and all input welcomed, thanks and happy rc'ing.

Thanks for your response, all excellent tips, I messaged the bloke I bought it from and he said that if I unclip the motor and send it back, he would replace free of charge, also I had ordered a new 370 the day beforehand, so got two coming, spares in reserve, and also the bloke said that shouldn't have burnt out, and apologised profusely. I have made the leap too, bought a load of ally parts for upgrade, so husky should be running for the foreseeable. Might buy a brushless carnage, and wheelie bar, and some 3s, have some proper fun.

So... Just finished ripping up the husky out the back of my house, and as I was a major drop in power occurred, drove it back to me to see what was up, and as i did. DEAD! Stop. Investigation commenced servo running steering ok, so not batteries radio or short, No drive what so ever, tapped the motor housing with my pocket knife and after this it runs on lame power for about 30seconds Questions questions questions, firstly I know its the motor that needs replacing, but can I replace with a 540 motor, are there some in the same dimensions as the ripmax 370? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Ahh ok, so in summary, I basically need a brushless motor and esc, and change both tx and rx? And thanks for the quick response, and I love learning so keep the knowledge and tips coming. One thing I would ask about the husky is, when I'm reversing the front left wheel wiggles left slightly, which effects the line of travel, only on the one wheel, and only in reverse. Any ideas would be great. Thanks for having a wicked forum.
