  1. brilliant and thanks for the help. took a year to find someone to help
  2. alright. can i have the actual name of the parts im trying to get? i can look up or measure it myself, thats fine. google is particular with the names of things and i'm internet scrub
  3. specifically from the pdf file of the score, bare in mind the number is for the whole sprew not individual parts: (AX80033) AX31102 (just the bit at the bottom connected by the bix X shape).and AX80018
  4. pillow / pivot balls that attach the moving arms to the frame. and the ones that go into the loop on top of the shocks for mounting to the frame. took 8 months for axial to get some of the parts to uk. what ones are out there that aren't axial? its difficult to start this hobby with no one doing it here in the middle of nowhere
  5. Due to a year of no stock from axial and very little help I've had to come to other solutions for getting the score retro up and alive. I'm looking for any models that have the same rear end. so if anyone has any yeti models for doner parts (UK) give me a shout. all I'm needing is the rear arm ball and socket joints, but if anyone is needing rid of half a yeti truck for a bit of cash, i could use the spare parts.
  6. I asked around for the castle set up that came with Modelsport UK problem is, being in the north east tip or scotland i cant find any intelligent people who have anything to say on the subject. I may (fingers crossed) have found someone who is interested in helping but it looks like ill get links to parts and have to buy them on top of everything else. I am aware of the differences to my small slashes. they were made for trashing and rebuilding. they are really fun. but they lack power and feel a little unpredictable in the air and tearing through mixed terrain. I dont have many places to run the rc cars but what i do have is a beach 50 meters away and a golf course that has a really nice public off road path with all sorts of mixed elements.
  7. Spoken to axial. they sent me a link to the recently new UK distributer and all they're asking for is the part number and they will tell me if it is in stock. giving them the item number just gives them the item number of the part that won't fit.
  8. I need Pivot balls for the suspension attachments. they gave me the wrong ones and wont deal with me. i called them 3 times and left just as many emails. im ****** ive spent almost a Grand and i have nothing to show for it
  9. righto. for the size and weight of the yeti score, would 2s be slugish? my experience is the traxxas slash 1:16 on 2s with the titan 12t
  10. http://www.modelsport.co.uk/axial-yeti-score-retro-trophy-truck-1-10-4wd-kit/rc-car-products/403135 the bundle here has the castle sidewinder combo with 3s lipo. is there a castle motor esc combo that will offer 3s. but surely they wouldnt bundle an esc with incompatible batteries?
  11. ive already decided on the castle 3800 sidewinder as i can save £40 as a combo. do brand names mean anything when it comes to batteries?
  12. ah but for that ill have to wait till after i get the truck. should i find the dimensions of the recommended batteries and find the best batteries of similar dimensions?
  13. how do i know what will fit and what won't?
  14. Hi all Before we start i want to say i know the kit may not be worth it over the RTR for the money but ive decided it's what i want to do. Ive a few things to talk about electronics: thinking of going with the castle 3800kv + sidewinder combo. (is that stupid?) Whats a good but value battery charger? What are good value 3s lipo batteries? i want run time and i'll get 2. recommended receiver / transmitter? Any further modifications needed? where im thinking of getting it from if my local shop is too expensive https://wheelspinmodels.co.uk/i/263568/ or http://www.modelsport.co.uk/axial-yeti-score-retro-trophy-truck-1-10-4wd-kit/rc-car-products/403135 a step up from the 1/16 slash general thoughts on the yeti score retro are welcome, will look forward to the comments
