My esc doesn't even have a name 😅 but should i replace motor and esc or change the pinion gear its 14 tooth. If so any links would be helpful if possible.

@Stormbringer yeah that's what i meant going to s3 or s4, how can i find out if the esc can handle s3 as it almost seems like there's no writing on it unless it's on the underside but it's glued into the box. Yeah it is but i can literally slow walk much faster than it can go at full speed and I've been out with a few other guys who have crawlers and they easily leave mine for dust 😅🤣

So i currently only have 1 electric car axial scx10 but it's very slow, to make it go faster can i just use bigger lipos currently running on s2 or do i need new motor and esc. I've been away from the hobby for probably 5 or 6 years i still have quite a few nitro and petrol cars, but i have almost 0 knowledge about electrics as such exept they're good for running steering and throttle servos 😂 so any info would be appreciated.

The o ring seemed like it shrunk lol it had a little play in the grove but it was all intact and no splits I've not replaced them all and re fitted find out soon if its alright now

It didn't leak at the end with the gasket or where the gear is, it only leaked out of the other side as i could see all the platter marks on the car lol

My centre diff on the losi 5ive t has leaked it was virtually empty when i opened it and it leaked from the back. So what would you guys say it was the shim or the o ring or replace the case? I was thinking i could have been the o ring?

I would for a few quid compared to what it could cost if you had a run away, I've never needed to use my killswitch because of any fault but i still always fit one to every engine.

This is my living room every year at Christmas and maybe 1-5% is my doing lol.

I whent with motul in the end as its fully synthetic and the one i have now is fully synthetic and looked the best all around. Thanks everyone for the great options you all provided My little project is nearly finished

I've been doing some research and im unsure on the oil to use now I've read castrol a747 is good and putoline mx5. Also they are both just semi synthetic would a fully synthetic oil not be better? But what's everyone's opinions now? Or other options?

What are the stock needle settings for a 990 wt as everywhere i look it's a different answer.

I don't even ask for Christmas presents for rc anymore i always buy myself a nice Christmas present now, if not we just end up asking each other for something and end up sending the same amount of money on each other so defeats the point.

Looks like compared to you guys I've got it pretty good as i can spend how ever much i want and buy as many cars as i like and she doesn't care one bit .

I'm after any clutch housing/carrier which ever way you call it, for the losi 5ive t any other than the stock.

That is a complete set for all the drive pins as the wheels are only 4 pins the set is 16 lol i have brought that set to change the front drive shaft pin the size you need will be there.

I cut a bit of cardboard too big then slowly cut it down to shape until it didn't rub or touch anything it shouldn't, then made a spare template and made the plates out of whatever metal i can. For this car i used fairly thick aluminium but it is a 1/5.

Yeah that's what i want otherwise id put a filter somewhere in the pipe to get the bigger bits out i don't think I'll bother with a paper filter.

You wouldn't happen to know if the pumps every gets blocked or there's some sort of filter in it? Good point, take bearings out but i do replace bearings fairly often so.
