im not having much time to rc but i was looking into aliexpress and you can get some really cheap upgrades for the outlaw like 16€ for aluminium chassi and 20€ for carbon and pretty much all the other upgrades

added another heatsink with a fan i got on ebay for less than 2£ im surprised how it performs every time full stock only HW1060 esc and changed both front and rear shocks setup.

The HPI GT 550 Motor seems very good for the price i might get one when the stock burns out just cant find many specs about it.

looks nice and all that but in my opinion the price point will be too high... probably not worth the money but hope im wrong

yep but its not easy to work in it and i dont want to bent the motor can... i was kinda afraid to damage the motor with the heat. the worst part its where the screw is xD such a hard spot to work on, at least i managed to get the motor out of the gearbox now i can regrease the gears that was what i wanted to do... the pinion its still in good shape so i think it will stay in there until i the motor stops working but thanks a lot for the suggestions

tried to drill the striped screw on the motor pinion with no success xD i think i will leave it there until the motor burns out xD

and the proline looks better

the stock motor permorfs nicely but overheats a lot maybe the hpi gt 550 would be a nice brushed motor

Store them in a safe place in case they got on fire wont make any damage and they should be around 3.8v per cell (storage charge) any advanced charger will have that option and if you leave them for a long time regularly check the voltage.

i would go black or black/orange or black/neon green

i also like the outlaw body but i think a sct body in it would be even better the team durango seems to fit well , maybe one of these and maybe some trenchers evo sc flo tek f 150

Just ordered a set of those turnigy v2, seems like a good deal super cheap and seems good quality i will wait and see how good they really are when i get them

i might give them a try... the postage its only 2$ from the EU warehouse to Portugal, dont know about the UK.
