      It's just finished (8pm).

Didn't realize it wasn't on everything in the categories it had selected.

At least it got me my bits from China and boltbase. Phew. Saved myself £10, better than nowt :)

  2. No not those. The official ones are Z725. Set screw type. https://www.hpiracing.com/en/part/Z725 Don't pay stupid for bolts and stuff. Can get a 10 pack of them set screw ones M4x10mm for £1.15 here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/M2-M2-5-M3-M4-BLACK-HIGH-TENSILE-CUP-POINT-GRUB-SCREWS-HEX-SOCKET-SET-SCREW-14-9-/323043683364?var=&hash=item773fbe7f74 One of my go to places.
  3. Good deal there matey Couple of things that are vulnerable: Get a couple of pairs of shock shafts spare and when the internal planetary diff gears let go get the #101142 hard ones to replace them. The plastic hinge pin holder at the bottom back of front diff can snap. If so replace with the vorza alloy one #67384. There are a few other bits that went on mine but if you don't jump it like a loon they're sweet Still have mine.
  4. Basic but works The one I had didn't have the thr limit switch just the trims and direction switches.
  5. Basically got too much grip. You could change the camber but as with a 1:1 car you may get premature inside edge wear. I think you'd need a lot. Soften your shocks as suggested. Best use those on loose low grip surfaces and get something with smaller lugs. Could try setting a bigger turning circle with the tx so it doesn't whip in at full lock as it were.
  6. I forgot about these Basically the same as the Prophet at half the price
  7. As long as they are exactly the same cell count yes you can parallel charge different mah lipo's. I prefer to parallel ones within 1000mah of each other and that's how much difference yours are. I also used to series charge my 2s as a single 4s when the mah was the same. If you went down the para route you'll need to have 13A and 100watts available at bare minimum. Watts is a key factor but they don't really tell you that It may say 7A+ but with only that 50w available the amps will just drop off to nothing. If you don't want the faff of separate power supplies then my gut is saying get 2 of these https://www.robotbirds.co.uk/default/t690-10amp-90watt-balance-charger-ac-dc-touch-screen.html Put the 5000 on one of them and then parallel the 2* 4000's as 8A on the other. If you get another 5000 at any point then do a 5 and a 4 as 9A on each. You won't need a para board for doing 2 at a time just a couple of parallel leads for balance and main connectors. For all 3 together at a decent value then it's the charger + psu + para board route: Charger: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/0620-20a-300w-balance-charger-version-2.html psu: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DC-12V-24V-5V-Universal-Regulated-Switching-Power-Supply-for-LED-Strip-CCTV-UK/291087849273?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&var=590244847094&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649 24V needed for full power from this charger though 15A / 360W version. Then a board that has your specific battery connectors pre fitted like: Deans: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/hobbykingr-safe-40a-parallel-charge-board-for-4-packs-2-6s-t-connector.html XT60: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/hobbyking-parallel-charging-board-for-6-packs-2-6s-xt-60.html Preferably I would like 2 of these: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-reaktor-250w-10a-1-6s-balance-charger.html out of stock in u.k. With this psu: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/110V-220V-to-DC5V-12V-24V-48V-Switch-Power-Supply-Driver-Adapter-LED-Strip-Light/142462540092?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&var=441462113871&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649 12V/ 60A / 72W version or the server route. Size puts me off a little on the servers though. And then your boards or leads. This set would future proof you and won't need anything else. Myself atm just got a load of 3s for my 6s hyper MT. (12 lipo's in total) I am series connecting 2 together as a single 6s (doing this 6 times) Then charging all 12 together as 6s at 30A. Good job I know a little about what I'm doing Should do me a couple of hours running. The cost of AC setups for price per amp & watt is a total con. And power output is relatively low. DC can cost half as much for double the power output which is why I recommend DC. The only AC charger worth bothering with for 2-4s is the Prophet quad 100w*4 but at nigh on £230!!! For 5-6s don't even bother looking at AC. The prophet quad 4*50w is a waste of space at near £170, basically 4 imax b6 in one box... con. Would kill it with 3s. The skyrc D100 says 2*100w but.... only with DC supply!! On the AC it's only 2*50W. Con. The D200 is 2*100w on AC but has a price tag. See where I'm going with this. There is this though: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/0620ac-eu-plug-20a-300w-synchronous-balance-charger-discharger-built-in-ac-version-2.html
  8. ? The Turnigy 60C are showing in stock in the u.k warehouse. From the full list the bottom 12 are "available in other warehouses" the top 21 are in u.k. (don't know about stock levels on all of them) If you look above the title of the battery you'll see it says "shipped from" then there's 3 bubbles showing U.K. - EU - Global. All you have to do is make sure you have the right bubble selected on whichever item you look at to see stock level and order. It used to be a lot easier when you could select a specific warehouse but I've gotten used to it. Just have to remember the bubble selection. My account seems to remember my preferences reasonably ok just have to be vigilant. It tells me in my basket too where it's coming from before checkout in case I've made an error. U.k. items are usually at my door in 48 hours of ordering. (PF 24)
  9. If you get no luck used then my vote goes here: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-battery-heavy-duty-5000mah-6s-60c-lipo-pack-xt-90.html Looking at what's in the 6s range they look around the best value for the C. https://hobbyking.com/en_us/batteries/lipo-batteries-all-brands.html?capacity=4776-8060&config=56
  10. Finders keepers dude. If I find it I'm avin' it
  11. Totally agree with the above but you need batteries first to know what the demand is when you floor it! Some useful/useless info on the motors: http://www.lehner-motoren.com/doc/man_30_series_en_11_2013.pdf Looked around for something to do and I saw somewhere saying 8000-10,000 watts on those motors. If that's correct then doing some math: Looks to me like the motor can do 330Amps at the higher figure. I assume you'll be running 12 & 14s. For me, at around the 6500mah mark I'd go no less than 60C and around the 8000mah mark no less than 50C. Both the above give around 400A capability constant. Might get away with a little bit lower C rate running 14s. I know nowt about 1/5th scale but the numbers look good to me. Mostly depends on what fits in there.
  12. I've got a custom motor mount for the 7 on ebay. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hobao-Hyper7-TQ-motor-mount-custom-cnc-milled-Nitro-conversion-to-brushless/192552221919 Take off all the fees and I can do £21 on the forum.
  13. Just get a fake castle 2200kv from ebay, A hobbywing quicrun 150 & powerhd 20kg servo. The lot for around £130 or less. Decent stuff.
  14. 3D printer query. Anyone willing to make me a holder ring for some 80mm angel eyes at some point?

What do you reckon a ball park figure cost would be? Checking before I get the light:

    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/80mm-Car-Headlight-Decorative-COB-Angel-Eyes-Halo-Rings-Waterproof-LED-Fog-Light/263597913696?epid=19011312606&hash=item3d5fa8f660:g:cSgAAOSw9CpazIy5

Basically need a ring with a channel in it made so I can hot glue the light into the channel.

    Like in this vid:

    Cheers.

I've printed things for a few folk on the Forum.

Rough pricing is usually £0.05 per gram of material used, £1 an hour for printer run time + post (which is usually £4 for 2nd class signed for)

      Cheers

Nice one matey. I'll give you a shout when I've got one.

Would you just need all the measurements for it or I could draw something up in inventor (with your advice on fit), export to .STL and send you the file.

  15. Depends on what surface you run it on. If you run on grass a lot and plan to rip speed runs on tarmac only I'd go up 4 teeth in size from what you have now, check there's no heat issues and then go from there.
  16. It's all very well saying it will charge 4 amps per port but charging also depends on it's wattage as well. If it's this one: https://traxxas.com/products/parts/chargers/ezpeak-dual-8amp-id It's 50w 4 amp per channel. Now as an ott example, if I stuck a 6s lipo on there it would top out at only 2A and take 2hrs 30mins flat out. Ohms law (amps x volts = watts) Using this info I've worked out that at full pelt these will be what it's capable of for 1C charging (charging within 1hour) on each port. 2s lipo of 6000mah or less. 3s lipo of 4000mah or less. 4s lipo of 3000mah or less. 5s lipo of 2400mah or less. 6s lipo of 2000mah or less. 7.2v nimh of 6000mah or less. 1.. If using anything close to these specs then you'd be flat out all the time. It will do it but it wouldn't last long unless you charge a little slower than 1C and are prepared to wait a bit longer. I would then suggest looking into a charger of 80w or more per channel if this is the case. 2.. If using lipo batteries of smaller mah than the above spec or nimh 7.2v of around 4000mah and have no plans of going bigger in the future then it'll be fine. 3.. Any capacity you are using that is larger than any of these (for example if using a 3s of 5000mah capacity) I would not touch it, it will just drop off and take ages. I'd say the bluetooth thing is a gimmick just so they can overprice it as Traxxas do!! But at least it has a reasonably acceptable 100w output I'd rather put the extra £50-£60 in and get the Skyrc D200 or the Prophet quad 4*50w if my batteries are no bigger than the above list. Or look into separates (Chinese psu from ebay) and 2*100w chargers (from Robotbirds) for under £100 total and learn how to set them up, (future proof yourself for larger stuff).
  17. I'm stupid.!!!!!!!!!!!! I might have something for this application Lying all over the garden. Called shock pads that go under artificial grass to make a cushion floor. Have a bit that's 25mm thick and a bit that's 35mm thick give or take. I over ordered. Might be worth a try. http://www.thegrassthatdoesntgrow.com/shockpads.html
  18. Depends how you drive. Mine went when I landed from a small speed bump with the throttle on. I have however never bust any others doing the exact same thing. Technically supposed to land without throttle and then gun it, might have survived that way, I'll never know
  19. I could only get away with a 16T on grass but I was using a 4274 2200kv. That smaller motor won't cut it. I would actually be inclined to run a 1900kv on 5s to give a good balance of speed and run time. It was a lot better than the 2200kv with 4s was with the same 16T. These days I only use a Truggy with a 1600kv and 6s. Still with the same 16T but slightly cooler and a lot more run time.
  20. Those batteries are a bit pricey if you ask me. You can do much better from Hobbyking. Normal price of Talion= £429. So "power bundle" would cost £201. I have a suggestion below. If you charge using the D100 on AC it's only 2x50w. A 3s 5000mah battery needs at least 60watts to charge at 1C (11.1*5A=55.5 + 10% =61 watts. So flat out it will take over 1hr from flat. I don't like running chargers at maximum as they don't last long at all. It would be o.k. with a DC supply as it can output 2*100w. So with you ideally needing a DC power supply for best results it makes it false economy imo. TBF these days the only way to get good charging at a decent price is to go with charger + psu combo's. The more watts & amps you have the faster it will be. Wattage gets overlooked a lot and it actually plays a crucial part in charging, a charger may state 10A but if it's 50w and you throw 6s at it it will drop off to about 2A max and take 2hrs 30 mins!!!!! Ohms law. From experience I wouldn't touch the chargers that are 50-100w anymore. My 6s takes 125 watts while charging!. For similar cost I would get 2 of the iSDT 150w units: https://www.robotbirds.co.uk/default/isdt-sc-608-150w-8-amp-mini-smart-lcd-battery-balance-charger.html (£74) A Chinese 360w power supply of 24v, (idst can take up to 30v in) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DC-360W-24V-15A-Driver-Switching-Power-Supply-Transformer-for-LED-Strip-CCTV-DN/273214440532?hash=item3f9cd98454:m:m172tVE8Vwgx79ZeeF1OUuA (£18) You can run both chargers off the supply at the same time. A damn site better total power output than a poxy D100 and gives you the option of charging at 2C (25-30mins charge time) Those lipo's say they are 30mm wide so 2 of them would not fit side by side (60mm) they would have to be stacked (unless the tray is 60mm wide) which I don't like doing as I mentioned before. For half the cost you could get a single 6s from Hobbyking: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/zippy-flightmax-5000mah-6s1p-30c-xt90.html and I could knock up a XT90 loop if it's needed for not much. Or 2*3s 40C only £32 each. https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-battery-5000mah-3s-40c-lipo-pack-xt-90.html Or...... Get the batteries and chargers from Hobbyking: Lipo's above £50-£65) Lipo bags: (£2.70 each) https://hobbyking.com/en_us/fire-retardant-lipo-battery-bag-180x220mm.html 2*250w 10A chargers: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-reaktor-250w-10a-1-6s-balance-charger.html (£40 each) 12v 600w psu hooked to both chargers: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AC-110-220V-to-DC-12V-50A-600W-Voltage-Transformer-Switch-Power-Supply-Converter/173261671847?epid=4017782565&hash=item2857334da7:g:65wAAOSwOXZayzNq (£24) Lipo bags https://hobbyking.com/en_us/fire-retardant-lipo-battery-bag-180x220mm.html Total on these is only £175+ p&p.. and you get........... ............ 40C lipo's and 500w 20A worth of "true" charging!!!!! it's a no-brainer!!!!. 2C charge those bad boys and be out in 25mins This lot knocks the crap out of the "power bundle"
  21. ISDT 500w charger from Robotbirds: https://www.robotbirds.co.uk/default/chargers-power-supply-leads/dc-only-chargers.html?SID=dc07670a5d523627431214dc428ff705 Coupled with a 24V 480w power supply from ebay (the isdt takes 9-30v in). You'll never need anything else. My Truggy battery tray holds a 154x52x50mm size battery. A 40C 5000mah 6s did not fit only the 30C fitted. The 30C had plenty of output: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/zippy-flightmax-5000mah-6s1p-30c-xt90.html?___store=en_us You want at least 60C if you use a 4s. Running hard I deplete a 6s in 12 minutes and a 4s in 8 minutes. Edit: Well actually a 40C 6s did fit but it only fitted stacked like and not on it's side if you catch my drift. With it sat the stacked way the top 2 cells slipped forward in a bump and the battery got damaged beyond repair. Not recommended to run it that way up hence going to the slightly smaller 30C. Never an issue now because it fits on it's side
  22. The last Traxxas one I bought shattered it's teeth. Their hardened steel was brittle. Was a 14T from a XO1 so hopefully the larger 17T will be more robust. I'd never buy a Traxxas again. The best I've used so far have been Novak for me but they've shut up shop.
  23. If it's Mod1 pitch then yes, gds are alright.. (Generally all 5mm bore are mod1) These are fine as well: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5Pcs-ZD-Racing-M1-0-13-17T-Pinion-Motor-Gear-Durable-for-1-8-RC-Car-Truck-SZ-UK/152813819565?hash=item239469d6ad:g:XygAAOSwW6BaJMLa https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/M1-5mm-15T-16T-17T-18T-19T-Pinion-Motor-Gear-Combo-Set-for-1-8-RC-Car-Brush-R1R1/332481177450?hash=item4d696c276a:g:6zAAAOSwbihaK9VP https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/M1-5mm-18T-19T-20T-21T-Steel-Pinion-Motor-Gear-Combot-Set-for-1-8-Off-road-H6M1/322849479570?hash=item4b2b541b92:g:UNAAAOSwH3hZ8p4L Handy for various terrains and finding your sweet spot.

I know the argument for keeping them. So i say evict them amd convert the royal places as true tourist attractions. Hotels leisure parks the lot.

People dont come to see the royal family they come to see the history that isnt even that royal families.

The BBC tracked down the true king of england. Hes a poor farmer with humpteen kids and 3x as many grand kids. Heir of henry the 8th. I think so.
