  1. This is not getting anywhere near enough use, so I've decided to put it up for sale.It has had a few packs, probably no more than 10, put through it since I've had it, brilliant buggy for the money and one that can take a beating. The drivetrain is all super smooth, diff oils are 5-7-3k. Shocks could probably do with a refill but work well as are. It comes with 3 sets of wheels, the stock ones haven't been glued yet. All in excellent condition with minor marks from use. Also included is a new front arm and CVD. The body is cracked in a few places, and the rear shock tower looks to be a tiny bit bent but it's hardly visible. £120 including fees and postage.
  2. If @capri-boy doesn't have this I'm interested
  3. If that's the £30 savox waterproof servo, don't expect it to last more than one run. I had one a while back and it broke upon first use, terrible servo. Great build though

  7. Took the SCX10 II's out for a quick trail run
  8. Betty the Bronco and Doris the Deadbolt got another run today, both took some tumbles, Betty took the worst but is still in one piece. Still very capable trucks and I'm highly enjoying both. Doris definitely needs front universal shafts for better turning circle though and some heavier wheels.
  9. My girlfriend let me take more photos of her!
  10. Haha this rig should be staying for a while (I know I say that about all of my rigs...) but now me and my other half have one, and go out with @Bix fairly often, I can't see me getting rid. I'm actually getting another set of gmade beadlocks for the deadbolt, and eventually rockbeasts again as I love them.
  11. You can get an Axial SCX10 II Deadbolt or Honcho for £269 / £289 from Modelsport. I am running a Deadbolt currently as my other half stole my SCX10 II raw builders kit, and the Deadbolt is really good. Axial have a huge following and great parts support. The Carisma is supposed to be really good though
  12. Had a great little run on Saturday, my other half has taken ownership of the raw builders kit with Bronco body and I am left with the Deadbolt. She want's an all black Bronco shell, so the red will eventually go on the deadbolt chassis. I also want to get metal links, better shocks, universal front shafts, wheels and tyres and better electrics one day...
  13. London scale trail runners Chanctonbury ring is a good place to go
  14. if you check out LSTR there are a few of them in Sussex. I tend to go out with @Bix and his son, but I bought his old SCX10 II Deadbolt for my girlfriend and she comes along too. But she has taken ownership of my Bronco until I get a new body and whatnot sorted for the Deadbolt.
  15. Please like and share this video, it would help where I work a lot!!

someone take these off my hands please...
  17. Where in Portugal are you? (I used to live near Odemira for a while, but wasn't really into RC back then, which is a shame as there are excellent trails for scalers/crawlers)
  18. I should really start getting out more... I wanted 2019 to be the year I really progressed with photography but I've been lazy. Here's the first one of this year:
  19. Fully aware I'm punching well above my weight ? theres 7 years and 150 miles between us, but things are going well so far. Yeah I would quite like a nice 85mm, but the 105mm was simply sublime. My 24-70mm still takes lovely photos, and is pretty sharp at f2.8 which is the widest it goes. But still not as good as a nice prime. And my 50mm is great, but if you want close-ups of faces you have to get in quite close. Although I did try a wide angle lens which would be quite fun for small local gigs, as even the 24mm of my 24-70 isn't that wide really.
  20. Went to the photography show up in Birmingham last weekend, had a lot of fun trying out products I can't afford. One of my highlights was the 105mm Sigma Art f/1.4 lens, with which I took this photo of my gorgeous girlfriend: https://www.flickr.com/photos/ostewart/33564465938/
  21. So my other half gave the Bronco its first trail run, and it performed really well without any need for fine tweaking. I am very impressed. Servo is strong and responsive, motor is super smooth yet has excellent torque, always have loved pitbull rockbeasts they just stick to anything.
  22. Trail run with @bix and his little one, along with my other half in charge of my red Bronco. https://www.flickr.com/photos/ostewart/albums/72157707484225365
