  1. @.AJ. how are those Stance+ coilovers holding up?
  2. Yeah I wanted something sensible, reliable and cheap to run. I'm 26 but had my license for 6 years, just haven't had the money or reason to own a car. It's a lovely little runner and I'm really happy with it.
  3. Just bought my first car, a 2009 1.4 diesel Mazda 2 TS2. Not powerful, but very economical.
  4. Finally got out with the trucks, maiden run for my girlfriends black and red bronco, opinions on the unicorn sticker? And a couple of group photos, went out with @Bix and his 2 x Enduros and Capra.
  5. My Chemical Romance have announced a reunion gig in LA in December... Now fingers crossed for a proper tour too 😁

I'm still an emo kid at heart, welcome to the black parade.

My first proper concert was seeing them during the black parade tour in 2007

  6. I spot some Marantz and Pioneer gear what's the silver unit above the Marantz though?
  7. offers on the motor?
  8. Anyone want the motor for £70?
  9. I'm using one of those in my SCX10 II, and have another on the way for my other half's SCX10 II. So far mine has been solid and flawless, taken a few tumbles and whatnot and it has plenty of torque. Also no need for a cap pack when using it with a WP 1080, even on 7.4v.
  10. Chloe started building the kit on Friday night and has really enjoyed it so far, axles, links, shocks and gearbox all done. Just waiting for the electrics to arrive and then we can crack on with the rest. The body is cut and masked ready for painting, when we get a dry day 😕

    Sold

    £35 posted for both.
  12. Long time no update but I sold the deadbolt and am getting another builders kit for Chloe to build and have the shell in her preferred colours. It'll be the same spec as mine, same ESC and motor and eventually same servo. I'll updated soon with pics when it is built
  13. Well that's another SCX10 II Raw Builders kit ordered, replacing the RTR Deadbolt with higher spec and the other half can build it and have the colours she wants :D

Hobbywing Max8, only ever used on 4s, never strained and in excellent condition with programming box and spares it came with. Fitted with 4mm bullets. SOLD Castle 1515 2200kv Sensored motor, used in a Pro MT 4x4 and Hyper VSe. Never run hard or overheated, in excellent condition with 6.5mm bullets - £80 Savox SC-1256tg servo, excellent condition (almost new) it's just had brand new gears put in it - SOLD
  17. It does come with the stock pinion, which was never used. Considering the extras this comes with I'm staying firm on pricing for now.
  18. Rather than pile £££'s into this model, it might be worth saving for a better buggy then, it'll be much cheaper in the long run. You haven't said what buggy you have btw
  19. Fair point I have seen the MCD ones use them, but that's about it and only really seen in 1/5th scale. Pretty much all 1/10 and 1/8 scale use plastic and some with carbon fibre stiffening plates.
  20. Why do you think race buggy's use aluminium arms? They need a certain amount of flex for durability, it only takes one crash to bend an aluminium arm and that will affect your handling more than a plastic arm slightly flexing. Higher spec race buggy's use higher quality plastics
