Thought the WR8 was supposed to be a 1/8?

Anyone else got and use a castle creations usb link? If so what settings do you run? Had a quick play last night and the brakes were only set to 50% from factory!? Safe to say upped it to 100%

Given rallies are point to point and not circuit based, how else did you think an rc rally would work? Not only that but my WR8 is capable of 60mph (gearing dependent) so how would that work on a long straight? Lastly, at least you will get some exercise!!

Also repaired the TS4N today so now i got both cars ready to bash!!

The guys at Model Sport really do know their stuff. Every time I have been in, if its been a query of mine they give me an honest answer, and when ive heard them talking to other customers, again they know their stuff. Guess im lucky living only 20 mins away!

Clutch bell bag for the TS4N and front dog bones for the WR8. Both now back on the road ready for a reet good baashing!

Finally repaired the WR8 after 5 days off the road....now to tinker with some settings courtesy of castle creations field programming card......

Just bought a castle creations field programming card. Says i need to attach it to the throttle cable....anyone know if its channel 1 or 2? Cheers

Hpi Ken Block WR8 Fiesta is deffo worth a look.... http://www.modelsport.co.uk/hpi-wr8-3.0-nitro-ken-block-monster-fiesta-rtr/rc-car-products/383054 Possibly a bit pricey for a starter but theres loads of tune up options, plenty of spares and a 2year Hpi warranty so certainly worth considering. These things are great both on road and off although if u want to tackle serious off road stuff then a buggy/truggy would be better but this, imo, gives the best of both worlds. I only got back into the hobby 3weeks ago and i love mine

Used to read Max Power and remember someone did a golf. 2.0 gti engine in the usual place but a Corrado VR6 lump in the rear to power the rear wheels....mental!!

Sounds like the ESC (electronic speed control) As far as i am aware (as quite new to all this meself) they all do it, just so you know everything is working ok.

T'was meant VERY tongue in cheek...i have a 2.5 year old myself so certainly do not condone any such actions. Its more saying stuff out of frustration as i would never allow my child to behave in such a way but sadly other people seem to think their child(ren) have carte blanche to behave however they like. In my op i stated thats what i was doing, bringing the car back in as i could see it going horribly wrong, just typical it happened then!

Me too!! Thing is i used to wear trainers when it was really hot (stupid i know) and that day i had forgot my trainers so had to wear my boots. Never wore trainers again after that day....rather have sweaty feet than no toes/foot

Used to work in a gasket factory running a cnc plasma cutter. Sheets of metal we used were 3mx1.5mx3mm thick. Used a suction hoist to lift sheets from pallet onto machine bed. Once i lifted 3 sheets (stuck together with water, from being left outside) without realising. Took a step forward and the bottom 2 sheets landed square on the steel toe cap of my left foot. I had to undo my laces, pull my foot out and hop down the factory, jump on forklift and lift sheets with forklift to get my boot back!!

I think the 5 digit display is how much charge its put in (in mah) but i could be wrong!
