  1. Worth changing the fuel filter too. Other than that fire it up!
  2. You know your bored when you start heat shielding your fuel tank...
  3. Thought I'd use the thread rather then start a new one. Everything is now great apart from the fact that I forgot to thread lock the hub screws... Lost the wheel and landed in the garden somewhere . The pin came out of the gub nut! Does anyone know what size these are? Are they universal or Hobao specific?
  4. Problem solved! The fronts were actually longer! So i've swapped them round. I guess I installed them wrong in the first place! .
  5. Hmmm still popping out! it's jsut the one side! adjusted the droop screws and put a space on the shock! The front driveshafts go in so much further! They just look too short! Any other ideas?
  6. Well 2020 has had plenty to answer for!! Besides getting engaged and buying a house...I now have a 100ft back garden to hoon around in , she fully supports my hobby too so win win! The hyper st is now black! It's time for a tune and some new wheels! Finding a pair that fit seems to be a bit of a ball ache though! I'm sure it'll change colour again next week .
  7. I painted my shell....for the 6th time . Looking at that pictre has made me realise how much camber the rear wheels have
  8. Thanks all, I'll check the droop screws, failing that...I'll superglue the buggers in .
  9. Hello, Now the drier weather is here I can finally thrash the nitro about! BUT the rear right driveshaft keeps popping out after getting air. See below.. It's almost like they're too short!! Any ideas, can I fit longer ones ?
  10. Hyper ST Pro! I've never built an rc car before and the pro was my first one and only one for that matter lol. You will need servos, transmitter, receiver and engine to finish though 👍.
  11. Nothing too special. Rewired the servos and switches as I rushed them when i frist assembled it. Raised and stiffened the suspension too! I know the shell needs re-doing .
  12. Remove the glow plug and crank it, if fuel jumps out then it's been flooded. Just tip it upside down until it's out .
  13. Might be worth bleeding the fuel system. Take the fuel line off of the carb and stick it in a glass/pot, take the fuel line off of the exhaust and blow down it, it should pass the fuel into the glass and clear the bubbles... In theory . Also worth leaving the glow starter in with it idling for around 20 seconds. Especially with how cold it is lately.
  14. i literally built my car from watchin youtube videos . Most problems with starting nitro in my experience are either not being primed or not warm enough.
  15. Okey okey it's all grassy . Well I've solved the problem with it getting dark early now! I've also installed a separate switch to control the lights.
