I had 2.2 proline flat irons on my G6. I also had 1.9 Mickey Thompson Baja claws. They were pretty much the same height, the flat irons are wider though.

The SCX10 runs 1.9 wheels bud.

Mine regularly goes through water and it just keeps going.

I'm running the mtronics rock c in mine, I've never had an issue with it. I'm also running 2s lipo. I had a 55t in mine when I first got it, it only lasted a couple trips out before I got bored with it. Although the 35t isn't fast, it is quicker than walking pace.

To be honest you don't need to change the gears to metal, so long as the slipper clutch is set up correctly you shouldn't have any problems. The 35 is a bit slower than the 27, but it does have more torque. I can't comment on which is the better transmitter as I have a spektrum 2 channel, it's all I need. I would take it out and run it, see what you like about it and then change what you don't like, no point spending a load of cash just for the sake of it.

The HPI Saturn is cheap and cheerful, I found it lacking in torque. I'm Running a rc4wd rebuildable and a brood specter, both 35t and I cant fault either of them really. Decent torque and wheel speed.

I did the same mate. Raised the suspension and the driveshafts started binding. I put the standard shocks back on. You could put longer links on to rotate the axle slightly and thus reduce the angle, but this may upset the steering. Hopefully someone with more experience will be along and correct me if I'm talking rubbish. Hope you sort it.
